 Makes the Phil and Ted's a perfect double May 09, 2008

The travel system has made my Phil and Ted's Sport the perfect double stroller.
When I was searching for double strollers, there was serious flaws with all of them. For me, the major flaw with the Phil and Ted's was I had to take my sleeping baby out of her carseat to put her in the stroller....the travel system fixed this problem.
The best part is my Graco Snugride carseat is small enough that I am able to put my two year old in the bottom double seat at the same time.(though this is not how Phil and Ted's recommend the use, and she is still small enough for the weigh limit). For a mom who live in the city, like myself, having a double the size of a single that also works with the carseat is absolutely perfect!!

Holds SafeSeat and SnugRide Oct 09, 2008

Everything I read (even the box for the product) says that it works for the Graco SnugRide. We bought a Graco SafeSeat, so I took a risk and bought this hoping it would work for both. It does! The SafeSeat snaps in and is just as secure as the SnugRide. Not sure if I would put a toddler under the carseat, but maybe in the lying down position. Very easy to install on the Phil & Ted.

This travel adapter is the greatest thing on the market! I was looking for an adapter for the Phil and Teds Dash or Sport stroller that would allow me to put the car seat in the front and still be able to have the toddler sit in the back seat, even though not recommended by the company. I tried a different adapter and with that one - besides being extremely complicated to install - I had to recline the front seat too much in order to have enough room for a child in back. This adapter here, on the other hand, is perfect: It clicks easily in place and is easily removed but most importantly, I DO NOT have to recline the front seat at all to fit my carseat in there. The carseat clicks into place and is very stable. Also, I have the Graco Safeseat instead of the Snugride, and it works perfectly for the Safeseat! Thanks so much for making such a great adapter and thus making us moms' lives so much easier!!!!

Can still seat toddler in back Mar 22, 2009

We were so excited when we realized we could still put our 30 lb. toddler in the doubles seat underneath. I know the company says not to, but we did some testing and it did not tip or feel unsafe at all!
It is much more convenient for us than using the flat infant seat with the doubles kit on top.

***SIDE NOTE*** For the negative reviews of this product...most are about the adapter for the CHICCO KEYFIT, not the Snugride adapter pictured here!! So take that into consideration!
Just got this today and got it based on other reviewers that said it worked with the Snugride 35 and you could use the double seat for your older child on the Sport Stroller. And YES it does work! This is my 3rd baby, got the Sport for having my 2nd....when the adapters weren't an option yet (you had to lay the seat flat for a newborn and put the double in front position to have both kids in stroller). Since our infant seat will be expired by the time our 3rd is born, I decided on the Snugride 35 over the Chicco Keyfit for a few reasons, but one was that this adapter looked simpler and more sturdy (just a solid metal support) to install. There isn't any issue with the spring nub on mine like another reviewer said, it went right into the slots, and although I unzipped the seat to install it, I realized you don't need to unzip it after all, leaving more room for my toddler in back. The Snugride 35 fit nice and secure, clicked in, and did not move or wiggle- seemed VERY sturdy and secure. I am SO excited to use my awesome P & T stroller with this adapter- I loved it before but now being able to just take baby from car to stroller like any other travel system stroller (especially in the winter when this one will be born!) will make my life as a busy mom of 3 much much easier!
