Part of giggle's "better basics" line, they're made of 100% organic cotton that's both wonderfully soft and reassuringly healthy. They make a great extra layer as an undershirt, or can be paired with footed pants for easy dressing. (Sold in packs of two.)

Good Quality, Needs More Buttons Sep 22, 2009

I really like Under The Nile clothing- good quality and organic. This particular shirt is a side snap shirt (which is great because you don't have to wrestle baby into it and pull over the head, so much easier to put arms into a side snap, even while they're sleeping), but there are only 2 snaps at the neckline. One on the inside of the shirt and one on the outside. So the rest of the shirt just hangs and is constantly opening up and creeping up. I wish it had a few more buttons going down to keep the shirt closed.

Under The Nile Short-Sleeve Tee Shirt, Organic Cotton Great design on tees with hidden snap placement not touching baby's skin. Sizes run a tad small when baby is 6+ months with armholes becoming too small. Hopefully UTN will extend their size range to include sleepers, onesies, tees for 9+ months. Had a very minor quality issue with an occasional unraveling of sewn raw edge and one loose snap than came off in wash (received replacement). Still highly recommend these. Cute affordable organics for baby. No one else out there doing these great tees.

stiff cotton, but mid weight cotton makes it manageable. quality is decent regarding stitching but made of organic cotton is a plus. made in egypt.

We bought these shirts to mimic the night shirts the hospital gives you for infants, these are awesome! So soft and comfortable....ample in size to make them last longer. A little pricey, but totally worth it!
