I was desperate to find a bottle that would take the stress out of feedings for my husband and extended family...After trying several different bottles I took a leap of faith and purchased two Yoomi 5oz bottles with warmer.
Yes, they are pricey, but when you consider the alternative, this product is a great deal! Once I charge the warmers they are good to go on a moments, or 60 sec, notice. The bottle/nipple size is more lifelike and my little guy immediately liked this bottle more than any other one we had tried. The instructions do say that it could take up to a week for baby to make the transition to this bottle, for us it took only a few feedings.
We find this bottle and warmer extremely useful when we are out-and-about and don't have a quick way to warm the bottle and when family members are watching our little guy. All we need to tell them is to push the button, wait 30 sec, tip it upside down, wait 30 seconds and bam...good to go.
This is my new go-to baby shower gift!

I had such high hopes for these bottles and warmers. For the price, I would expect these bottles and warmers to be the greatest ever. Not so. The bottles leak terribly. I watched the youtube video many times to try and make sure I put the bottles correctly, which I thought I did, but they leak terribly. On top of that, the warmer only worked once. The second time, it simply did not work. Now, a month and a half later, the bubble on the bottom, which pops out when it is ready to be warmed is still halfway popped out, the color of the indicator is still halfway blue and while there is no clicking when it is shaken, there is a noise that sounds like sand rustling around inside. I have no idea what happened, but it is broken. Many bottle warmers that plug in are cheaper than these single bottle warmers and I have since discarded my overly expensive Yoomi bottles for Dr. Browns.
 Buy this bottle only if you wanna waste 1/2 of the milk content during a feeding! Plus, it's expensive Mar 19, 2012

I bought this bottle in hope that it would work magic on my mildly colic baby due to the advertised easy latch-on nipple and 6 venting teats. However, after trying this bottle a couples of times, I am totally disappointed because my baby would constantly make strange chucking noise while sucking and milk would flow out the corner of his mouth every single time. I am suspecting a faulty design with the seemingly too soft and too flexible nipple because my boy has never had such problem with any bottles that I've tried (Lifefactory, Comotomo-my absolute favorite, Mimijumi, Organickidz). So unless you can get your hands on a free one, I suggest you look elsewhere. The bottle design is cool however, that's why I gave it 2 stars.
Amazing convenience! -- when heating unit isn't faulty Mar 10, 2012

I ordered two bottles from amazon, and a third bottle from another vendor, ahead of the february birth of my second son. The three heating units have all been used three times (I boil them all at one time after they have all been used). When functional, the bottle and heater units are profoundly convenient and helpful, and my son is happily taking his once-a-day bottle of expressed breast milk (which my first son never did, no matter what bottle we tried). The only problem is that 2 of our 3 heating units arrived with the bottoms fully bubbled out all the time - which according to the information packet is a sign that they are no longer functional. I hoped/assumed that could not be the case. Unfortunately after the fourth round of boiling the heater units, those two units will not activate at all. The third unit, the one that still has a "dented" base, still works great. I have thrown away the packaging so I'm not sure I can return them via amazon. I'm going to contact Yoomi and inquire about replacements. The convenience and ease of the self-heating bottle is so incredible that I'm willing to try again. But its's certainly disappointing that the two of the three heaters, which are quite expensive of course, arrived in a barely functional "expired" state. I will update regarding my customer service experience with Yoomi.
I should add that because two of our heating units failed to work last night (and the other wasn't ready for another use) I had to warm the milk the slow way, and use the bottle without the heating unit inserted. It worked great. No leaking, my five week-old son drank the bottle quickly and happily.

Warms milk fast enough to prevent crying! Mar 15, 2012

I LOVE the Yoomi! I am not a fan of nursing in public (although I support our right to do so, it personally makes me uncomfortable) so I was looking for something to warm breastmilk for those longer outings. All the other warmers out there seem to take around 4 minutes to warm the milk and anyone who has ever been around a hungry baby knows that 4 minutes can seem like a lifetime. So I decided to try this based on the short warming time (60 seconds). It sounded rather complicated to get the Yoomi ready, but once you've done it you see it's actually straightforward. You just boil the charger for 25-30 minutes (we need to do it for 30) and then it's "charged" and will retain the charge indefinitely. You can store it in the cupboard or even attached to the bottle of milk in the fridge! It's so awesome. As for the leaking or trouble feeding that other users mentioned, I haven't had any of those problems. I would definitely be upset if I lost some of my precious breastmilk, but thankfully we haven't had any issues. She doesn't drool the milk out of the corner of her mouth when feeding and the bottle has never leaked for us. It seems like it has a really tight seal and we pack it in the diaper bag when we go, so it gets bounced around, tipped and tilted and we haven't lost a drop of milk yet! :)
Overall I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who likes going out with a baby. It is the fastest way to warm milk for your little one and it makes things so much easier.
