just received the box today. i love the blocks overall, especially that they have both the upper and the lower case of letters. The quality of the blocks are good except that 3 or 4 of the blocks have splinter on the edges. They are not too sharp, just not smoothed out on a couple of corners. I was able to smooth most of them out by scrubbing with a dish sponge.
Overall i'm happy with them and will recommend these blocks to others.

I've purchased these blocks for Christmas for my 2 years old son. They are sooooo cute !! Each block is 1.8" x 1.8", so the perfect size. They are painted with cute colorful pictures and have upper and lower case alphabet. My son has fun with them. They seem to be very durable and well made although I am a little bit curious if the paint is going to last after more playing.... So far very happy with the purchase.

These blocks are great over-all. The reason why I am only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I received it, the a part images on theblocks peeled off. I noticed this immediately after opening the box. Other than that, the blocks are great and my baby loves them.

These cubes are great. I bought them for my one year old, so I can't really speak to the educational value of the product (not quite learning the alphabet yet), but these cubes are well made, seem durable and the pictures are birght and fun. Great size for little hands too! The only thing is the paint is beginning to chip along some of the edges. Perhaps wouldn't be a problem with a bigger child.

We bought these blocks for my son's first Christmas (2010). He was not ready for them at the time, as he was only 4 months old, but I would periodically pull them out and show him the alphabet, and my husband would stack them up like a battering wall. My son started taking more interest in these block around 13 months. He's now 17 months old, and for the past month we take them out EVERY day and I sing the alphabet to him once or twice. Then I flip the picture over and get him to point to each associated picture (he's not a big talker yet).
When this set of blocks arrived over a year ago, the paint on each block was perfect for the most part. Now there are 3-4 blocks with paint that's slightly rubbed off, but not very noticeable. My son is ROUGH with these blocks--he bangs them together, bangs them on the toy box, and throws them out of the baby gate and some often fall down the stairs. So overall, I think they're good quality blocks! They're a bit pricey, but well worth the money in my opinion. (And I love that they're stored in a cloth storage bag.)
