No cheap stickers allowed Sep 27, 2011

When I first began my quest for a puzzle for my son I had no idea how hard it would be to find one. Finding one made in the US proved to be virtually impossible, and I was shocked at how many used stickers instead of paint. Stickers on a toy for a toddler? Come on companies and quit being so cheap. Finally I found Educo, and while it's made in China, at least the quality seems to be acceptable. First of all, there are no stickers here. This is a good quality, screen printed puzzle (the package claims the paint itself is brought in from Germany). The puzzle is made out of plywood that is very smooth and nicely finished. The animals themselves fit nicely, and yet slightly loosely which is more forgiving for younger hands. The whole puzzle comes off as quality for the price. My son (he's not quite 2) has only had this puzzle for a short time, but he plays with it constantly and already knows each of the animals by name. He also enjoys standing up the animals and playing with them that way. This is like getting a puzzle as well as animal figures all in one.
