Great crib Sep 03, 2009
By Annie M. I bought this crib for my daughter and she is now 2 1/2. From day one i've been happy with it. It's pretty, sturdy and it's carved detail is a great touch. It is solid wood and well worth the money. Like I said my daughter is now 2 and sleeps in it as a day bed. She naturally jumps on it and climbs all over it. I have checked the bolts and they have never been loose as for something to come undone. Great crib worth the money and I can't wait until it's a fullsize bed. Good longterm investment for your child.

Good Sturdy Crib Aug 10, 2009

We actually purchased this crib from Baby Depot, but researched the manufacturer in the Baby Bargains book. I was a little concerned about the ratings on here. Turns out I think we made a good decision. It was pretty easy to put together and had detailed instructions. It is a nice sturdy crib for the price. The only reason we gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because one piece in the sealed box from the manufacturer had a defect, so we had to exchange it. We haven't used the crib yet (that'll be in December), so I can't say anything about durability.

Great Crib Jan 04, 2012

We bought this crib for my daughter who is still using it converted for toddlers, today. She's four years old and now we are starting to think about getting the full size bed conversion for it. It's a great crib, feels really solid, and looks beautiful. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that when you convert it to the toddler bed there are big holes visible from where the front of the crib was attached, it took a while for me to overlook the holes. Also, the veneer is startings to wear on the crib and the changing drawer table as well. Overall, great buy, we're received many compliments on it in the past.

EXCELLENT crib and furniture set Nov 27, 2011
By R.C. We bought this entire furniture set (in chestnut) for our newborn son who just turned two. We have LOVED it and have absolutely no complaints. Ours was purchased at Baby Depot in the summer of 2009 for a great price. We bought it all-- both dressers, including the hutch, and the night stand. (EVERYTHING for under $1200.) We also bought the side rails for full-size bed conversion at the same time, and have been using it as a full-size bed for a couple of months now. Had no problem converting it; took no time at all. We of course bought safety rails since our boy is so young still, but the height of the bed is not a problem since we use just the mattress without the box spring. There are bed slats included with the side rails to place under the mattress if you're not using a box spring, for extra support. Our son is able to climb up on the bed by putting his knee or foot on the side rail to step up. We haven't had any problem with the finish randomly flaking off or hardware being loose. However, the finish did start to wear a little bit where the wipe warmer was. Now I keep a towel under it- an easy fix. The crib and furniture set is beautiful and structurally solid. We're now looking for furniture for baby #2 on the way, and would love to buy the whole set a second time. At this time Baby Depot only offers it in virginia cherry (still beautiful) and doesn't offer the hutch part or night stand. They have the best prices, especially if you wait for a 20% off sale on top of the bargain. I can't say enough about how much we love this crib/bed furniture set. Oh... and our son left teeth marks on the front and side rail of the crib because I failed to buy a protector, but once turning it into a full bed I wiped the scratches with Old English and it covers it up VERY well.

Very Sturdy, the thing doesn't even Waver when you shake it Sep 10, 2010
By Monk in a Monastery Although I did have to pay premium for the sturdiness, I'd recommend this crib if you are going to have an active boy who will jump up and down on it non-stop.
