Wow... May 25, 2010
By Andre Horace Jones
"Dre Jones"
Background: The wife and I saw this lovely dresses at a baby furniture store and wanted to buy it from them and deeply considered it but I thought "Maybe I should look online", lo and behold Amazon had it with free shipping which that store could not do. That store unfortunately wanted me to spend $110 for shipping and the product would take 12 weeks to order! I thought they must be making it as a submit the order? With Amazon it took about 3 weeks and it was delivered right to the door. My only complaint with this are with the freight company: A. Their records showed they called me but I never had a missed call and never received a voicemail. B. When I did call to schedule the delivery I asked specifically if they would bring it in the room of my choice because my wife was pregnant at the time. Well lo and behold they come with the dresser and she asks them to put it into the nursery which is about 12 yards down the hall (straight shot from where they left it) and they said they couldn't do that and we'd have to pay the setup fee...
Pros: Love the two swing out top drawers that can be open while you stand in the middle with a changing pad and baby on top of the dresser that allow for easy access to wipes and all the necessities. Very solid construction, the finish is beautiful and not having to do much in the way of assembly is a godsend. The height is great for changing baby (I'm 5'10" if that helps anyone and wifey is 5'4"), and I wish our pack n' play with built in changing table was at this same height.
Cons: This is kind of a two-in-one sort of deal because it is shipped nearly fully assembled it's obviously very heavy and also because it is shipped nearly fully assembled the shipping container is a bear to pull apart...Within said shipping container is a custom made pallet that the dresser stands on, and cardboard for days, removing the dresser from the shipping materials was almost as big of a project as assembling a lesser piece of furniture.

HORRIBLE Jan 20, 2011
By mur01 We have the entire set...and it's awful! The swinging drawers don't close and the door won't shut! I thought the safety drawers were a good idea on the dresser...but it is literally impossible to get my hand in the top drawers to get any clothes out! Bad construction and not functional! Don't buy!
