Beautiful and high quality Aug 22, 2011
By RGA Have been using this crib for several weeks only (will update if anything I'm saying changes based on use) but we love it. Easy to assemble (took my husband about an hour or two), easy to follow instructions, provided spare parts for conversion to daybed.
Finish is beautiful and it came in sturdy packaging which prevented any damage. We've banged it into a few things moving it around the nursery and not a single dent yet.
My daughter loves it but she's hardly got much to go on :)
Can't believe I have no gripes; I'm usually very finicky. Only thing that may bother some is the top rails are wide. This makes attaching standard mobiles difficult/impossible because most mobiles that we've run across have an U-shaped part that is meant to hug the whole top rail. Our little one will just have to go mobile-free (which is better now that she's pulling to stand anyway)

FUMES Mar 22, 2012
By SERENDIPITYGAL BOUGHT THIS CRIB.. BEAUTIFUL STURDY.. LOVE IT EXCEPT FOR THE STRONG FUMES IT EMITS. I HAVE HAD IT FOR SEVERAL DAYS AND THE ROOM SMELLS LIKE CHEMICAL VARNISH... CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY
Good looking and sturdy! May 19, 2012

This was bought because I wanted a long lasting convertible crib. While the crib had the varnish smell for about 4-6 days, I can say that it was something that was aired out and "cooked" by the sun. I also used cedar blocks to try and get rid of the smell in the nursery while alternating opening the windows. I always kept the baby's room closed b/c I wanted to give it the "sniff" test every morning. It's a very good looking, sturdy piece of furniture that seems like it will last through the conversion stages - given of course that I am smart enough to buy a teething rail asap!! (*i'll go get on that now..!)
