Very hard tip Dec 31, 2010
By Mrs.Peterson3107 My daughter is 10 months old and has a hard time drinking out of these cups. I ordered two of them. The tip is hard so I don't think she understands she's supposed to drink out of it she just chews on it. I am hoping as she gets a little older she'll love them!
Great sippy cup May 22, 2012
By SuzBSF Like lots of mum's, I have tried lots of sippy cups! I like these ones the best because: a) it has quantity markings on the side b) you can remove the valve so it's a free flowing spout c) the spouts are soft but not too soft d) it can go in the dishwasher, steriliser, microwave e) you and your child can see how much liquid is inside
My 3 year old still uses the 10 oz cup without the valve (so free flowing & leakable although not as bad as a cup with no lid at all) for his milk at night and I have just started my 15 month old on this 7 oz one today.

Tip is too hard for a "trainer" cup May 16, 2011
By Erin Kays I agree with a previous reviewer. The tip doesn't seem good for a "training" cup. It seems just like a regular sippy cup to me.
I would recommend using Dr Browns Soft Spout or another cup with a tip closer to a bottle's nipple. My baby just doesn't get this one. Not to mention with the valve in place, she cannot get any liquid out. Neither can I actually.

1st cup that actually worked for us Jul 24, 2011
By Happy Again Yes the spout is hard, this is not the cup you're looking for it you want a soft tip. However, it was the first and only sippy cut that worked for us. The placement of the handles helped my daughter figure out that the cup needs to be tipped to drink anything. We're finally off the bottle at 9 months thanks to this sippy
