I got these socks as a gift. These socks make your baby look hip no matter what else they are dressed in. I get compliments wherever I go- which surprises me since every baby around here seems to have them. The cons are that the shoe laces shred- so now with almost every pair the laces are cut in some way as the threads unraveled. Also, my baby is 6 months and he has outgrown them- which is unfortunate. I wanted to get the next size up but they are pretty pricey, especially since I know they will not last too long.

Trumpette makes the coolest baby socks available anywhere. Theses Johnny's Socks look like little high-top sneakers, come six pairs to a box. Green, Red, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Black, and another color I don't now recall. They stay on our baby boy's feet better than most other types of socks. Although in the product images available online they appear to have rubbery soles, their soles are cloth with the company name on them in rubbery white letters.
Our only complaint about this product is the "laces'" edges began to fray almost immediately. You'd've thought a company this clever would have dabbed a little fray-guard on the ends of the laces.

I saw these socks on another baby at my son's "Kindermusik" class, and I asked the baby's mom about them. She highly recommended them, since they are the only socks that actually stay on. She also mentioned that these socks run a little small. Before ordering them, I contacted the company about the size issue. They also recommended ordering the next bigger size, since they run small. My son is 5 months old, and his feet are 4 inches long. The toddler size (1-2 years) fits him just right. They are just a little bit lose around the toes, but his feet will only get bigger anyway, so there will be plenty of room for his feet as they grow. The socks look just adorable. The quality of the material is great. And the box they came in is so precious. Next time I need a baby shower gift, I will give these socks. They make a great gift. Yes, they are a little pricey, but once you feel and see these in person, you won't feel so bad about the price anymore. I'm totally hooked, and I am going to order more of these, but in a different style, like the cowboy socks or city socks. I just wish I would have known about these socks sooner.

I love these socks. My three month old has worn them since birth and he has not kicked them off once. These are the only socks I have put on him. I get compliments from every one! They look so cute on. The only problem is that he is already outgrowing them. I've had no problem with the laces shredding. I now wish I had the next size up. Go for the bigger size if you are going to get these.

I LOVE these socks. My son wore them until he was about 7 months old but outgrew them (he was about 22 pounds then). So sad because they are the cutest little socks you'll ever see. I got compliments everywhere we went. I wish they made them one size bigger!!!
