Bought these after we outgrew the Trumpettoo Mary Jane socks we got as a baby shower gift. They are adorable. They stay on my daughter's feet and they launder well (even the ribbons!). She wore them nearly every day this summer and got loads of compliments. I only wish they came in the next size up as well.

It's too bad these only come in size 12-24 months. I think you can start using them as soon as 10 months (approximately size 3 shoe) and up to 18 months (size 5.5 shoe). They do not shrink too much in the wash and do not fade. The ribbons keep their shape and stay crisp and shiny after multiple washes and drying. The ribbons are high enough in the back that it looks great when she is wearing her mary jane shoes and robeez that have an ankle strap. The tread on the bottom does help to keep our daughter from slipping on our hardwood floor kitchen compared to her other socks that have no tread.
If you love Trumpette socks or if your child is like ours that did not like wearing shoes until she was 13-months-old, but didn't mind wearing socks, this is a must buy.

I LOVE the Trumpette socks and these socks are no exception. They are beautiful and hold up exceptionally well in the wash. My daughter had socks like these as a newborn through her first year and then I was elated to find out they also came in a 12-14 month size so I quickly purchased these as well. My daughter has little feet, but my experience with the Trumpette socks sizing is this: The 0-12 months is really 6-12 months and the 12-24 months is probably 12-18 max. My daughter is 18 months old and wears a todder size 5, she can technically wear the socks, but they're pretty small already. The colored part on the bottom of the sock doesn't cover the entire bottom of her foot. Also-- now that she's walking and running everywhere-- the Trumpette tread on the bottom is very small and thin and doesn't really have the gripping you'd like to see in a toddler sock.
