Wonderful bed Dec 21, 2010
By Emma S. Wilson

We have had air filled beds before but most did not hold the air for more than a couple of days. Last week my 12 year old grandson used it when visiting. I did not deflate but just laid it on the bed in my spare room because we had more company come 3 days later. We put it on the floor for my 4 year old grand-daughter who thought it was a "boat". My favorite feature is that you can tuck in the sheets and blankets. With other beds, the kid and the blankets parted company early on. Both kids stayed covered up all night. At the moment, it is still inflated and waiting for the last batch of grandchildren to visit on Christmas weekend. Great product.

Not as good as Aerobed and it needs LARGER carrying bag Aug 17, 2011
By Tubby Bartles I purchased this bed for my 5 year old kid and also purchased a smaller toddler bed from Aerobed for my 2 year old. The Shrunks' twin size is good and the fabric on the mattress feels soft and nice. I also like the way you can put the fitted twin sheet on top and have it fit well within the borders. However, when I compare it to the Aerobed, I have to say that the mattress doesn't feel as sturdy and firm relative to the Aerobed. The material on the Aerobed feels thicker and when that bed is inflated, it's firm where as the Shrunks bed feels a bit soft even after pumping all the air in.
Another BIG issue for me is that I cannot possibly fit the deflated bed (no matter how tightly I fold it) into the tiny carrying bag they supply. I don't want to keep track of the pump and the bed separately and wanted to have one bag that fits everything that I can easily bring along to road trips and camping. By the way, Aerobed carrying bag has enough room for the bed, pump and a mattress cover. I cannot do that with Shrunks. I contacted Shrunks because I thought I had the wrong size bag and they said the carrying bag is the same size for the twin bed as the toddler bed. This seems ridiculous since the twin bed is much larger. Hopefully they'll change that some day.
Overall, I would go with Aerobed unless you need the side bumpers which I do. So, for now, I'll be using this one and buying a larger carrying bag elsewhere.

Great purchase!! Nov 12, 2010
By KAD This bed goes with us everywhere we travel. It's easy to inflate and deflate. My toddler has no trouble sleeping on it. Perfect for trips when an extra bed is not available.

Perfect Sleep Away Bed Nov 04, 2010
By Mom of 5 This is the perfect air mattress for kids. The size is GREAT! We took this on a cruise with us for our 5 year old and it stayed pumped up ALL week and was the perfect bed for our little guy.

Fantastic! Sep 21, 2010

We purchased this to take on a beach trip for our three year old. He is too big for a pack and play but not ready for a regular bed. He LOVED it! So much so that he asked to sleep on it when we returned home. It inflates and defaltes easily. Packs compactly. I feel it is very well constructed and think we will get much more use out of it. I only wish we had found this sooner. The best part - he has let us convert his crib to a toddler bed. Apparently this was the bridge he needed to feel secure in this transition. Who knew !?!
