Description:

The First Years Soothie bottle uses the shape of the Soothie pacifier for familiarity when transitioning to the bottle. Using their stage one nipple for slow to medium flow, the bottles are perfect for babies getting comfortable with bottle feeding. The bottle covers snap to the bottom of the bottle, and the wide neck makes filling and cleaning a snap, and the contoured shape makes it easy for the baby to hold. The bottles work with all First Year breast pumps, and it is also nice that they do not contain polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or phthalates. The First Years Soothie three pack includes three 5 ounce bottles and bottle covers and three stage one nipples. Bringing the hospital distributed Soothies Brand to bottles! Same nipple shape and feel as the 2.5 million hospital-distributed Soothie Pacifiers for easier transitioning for baby. Medical-grade silicone. Cover snaps on to bottle base so it doesn't get lost on the go. Bottle features a medium/fast flow. Soothies is a brand recognized by moms as trusted by hospitals, and we have used the same medical-grade silicone as the pacifiers. We have been using these bottles since my daughter came home from the hospital. At first she was a reluctant breastfeeder so I was pumping exclusively and feeding from these bottles. By 3 weeks old she mastered the art of latching on! So, in my opinion these bottles are extremely conducive to breastfeeding. Now she only gets bottles when I'm unavailable, such as when I go back to work. You'll be glad you tried these, trust me!

We have tried several other bottles but found these to be the best for our daughter. She seems to only like to drink from these and we don't see any issues with gas. She does get some but nothing out of the ordinary.

Our son is 4 months old and is getting used to me being home part of the time and gone (working) as well. I got these bottles thinking he may transition well to them because they are just like his pacifier. They got a huge thumbs up from my husband and mother in law who feed our little one when I'm not home. He took to them right away and they work really well. No problems at all - plus they're not the most expensive ones out there but they're BPA free and all that good stuff.

My baby is breastfed so I researched a lot of bottles before settling on these. I wanted the transition between breast and bottle to be easy for her (and me!) and she has had no problem switching back and forth between the two.

I would like to note that even though my baby is 9 months old now I still use the Stage 1 nipples if there is only milk or water in the bottle. The flow from the Stage 2 nipples is too fast otherwise. I use the Stage 2 nipples when I've added cereal to her milk and that works out great.

I love the design of the bottle. I like that the lid will snap onto the base of the bottle to help minimize lid loss. Because they do tend to disappear otherwise!

All in all, I've not been disappointed in these Soothie bottles. They're all I'll use!

I replaced playtex dropins with these bottles. I like them. The design is nice and my daughter gets along fine with them both with breast milk and formula. I bought the stage 2 nipples as my daughter is older and they work well.
