little ones can't get them out, but neither can we Jun 24, 2009

I love the hinged feature so that the cover is never just laid down somewhere and forgotten, but they sure are snug. It's very hard for even the adults to get them out. But hey, that means neither can the little ones!

Great idea! Nov 29, 2010
By Kendra Rupe The fact that these plug covers are hinged together is the greatest idea ever! Since its attached it is super easy to remember to put it back when you are done. Fit the outlets tightly, and a little hard to get off--but that it the point right?
Great outlet covers as long as you don't need to access the outlet Jan 11, 2012
By lg99 I had previously purchased the "mommy's little helper" outlet plugs. My 21 month old son recently started ripping those out of the wall with ease, so I had to get something that was more difficult to get out. These were somewhat difficult to get into the outlet, as you have to insert both at the same time. I can't seem to just remove one outlet cover. I think that the only way to access those outlets again is to pry off the plug, which means my son won't be getting into them but then neither will I. I just purchased more of these for the outlets that I don't use frequently. I have some of the older, thicker Safety First plugs that he can't seem to get out. I've since moved those to the outlets that I want access to and this seems to be a good solution for keeping him out of the outlets.
Easy to put it. Tough to take it. Oct 28, 2010

I initially got a box of safety first outlet covers. they were perfect with a press to release system. But i needed to cover more outlets and decided to order this. It slides in pretty easy, but you have to have nails in your finger to pry it out... bacause getting it out is tough. I then switched all my covers such that the ones i use often, i installed safety first covers... and the ones i hardly use, i used these.
Good coverage Aug 18, 2010
By ElizabethM. Difficult to fit into some outlets (quite snug) but I feel confident that my little one cannot pull the covers out. I wouldn't recommend using these in outlets that you frequently use though b/c it is very snug once in place.
