Great seat for a great stroller system Oct 15, 2011
By Tishopanad Pros: Looks great, very durable, can be flipped to face in either direction. This has many advantages but you don't realize quite how awesome this is until you are walking with your baby on a bright sunny day. With a quick switch the baby can be flipped around so they don't get blinded by the sun. The bassinet and car seat (with attachment) can also be flipped in either direction. I don't know of any other system that allows you to flip a car seat around in this way. The T-stroller seat has the biggest canopy I've ever seen on a stroller seat - it's almost like a cocoon! The optional patterned inserts are lovely and cushy and allow you to use the system for all genders. The umber beige is a wonderful neutral color.
Cons: There are 3 seat positions - almost fully upright, a 45 degree recline and around a 20 degree recline. There is a huge gap between the almost upright and the next recline level. I wish there was another setting in-between and I also wish there was a full recline. I think this will be a lot less of an issue when the baby is older but for a small baby it's not so ideal. Of course I have the car seat attachment so for me it's really a non-issue but if you are planning on using the T-stroller seat alone, it's something to think about.
All-in-all I love this stroller system. It's so much better made than pretty much everything else I looked at and it's nice to have a quality alternative to the Quinnys and Buggaboos that everyone else in the neighborhood has.

Excellent quality!!!! Feb 15, 2011

This is one of the best stroller seats around. Nothing beats it. high quality. extremely comfortable for baby. the only downside is the flaps of the cover on the side. I have no idea how the velcro is supposed to attach. It's not necessary and is fine without attachment. however, I would still like to know how it's supposed to attach. I love that it comes with a rain cover as well. My experience in contacting Teutonia has been extremely easy. I will have to do so again.
LOVE our Teutonia, don't love the straps Mar 23, 2012
By JenSZ This is a very popular stroller in Germany (where my husband's from) and we were super thrilled to find it for sale in the US. Out exact model is the T-360, and we have the stroller seat as well as the carry-cot attachment, which we LOVE LOVE LOVE! Our son is now 6 months old, and we've just transitioned from the carry cot to the stroller seat (and PS, if you have a little one, the carry cot is AMAZING. It's like a snuggly little portable bassinet, and because he can lie perfectly flat, I never felt guilty about leaving him in the stroller if he was sleeping. (Unlike the infant car seats which are bad for babies' backs.) Ok, anyway, moving on to this stroller seat.
Everything the other reviewers have said so far are true:
-great quality (looks and feels well made) -wonderful feature that the handle flips around so baby can face you or the world. seat can be put on the base in 2 directions -extra large cover to protect from the sun -it has a little plastic window on top to look in, and the back/side portions zip off to reveal a mesh fabric, which has good air flow and allows you to see in from the sides/back. -adjustable backrest has reclined or upright positions (although it doesn't fully recline (which would be nice) it reclines back as far as most other strollers I've seen (like the BOB for instance) and baby seems to be able to sleep in it pretty well.
My only complaint is the position of the strap that goes between the legs. It seems to start a bit further back than other strollers (in other words, closer to the crease where the seat meets the backrest) which means that my baby sits with most of his weight on the strap between his legs. My baby squirmed and seemed pretty uncomfortable, so I had to solve the problem by having him sit on a folded blanket so he has a little "seat" between the straps.
I would love to hear feedback from other teutonia stroller users...do you have a solution to this problem? Is ours missing a piece? It makes me so disapointed because otherwise we LOVE everything about this stroller. If I could move this darn strap an inch forward this stroller wouold get 5 stars.
