These innovative flanges fit into your flange set and eliminate constriction of milk ducts to promote better flow and reduce irritation to the nipple area. They also allow you to sit back in a reclining position while pumping and are considerably more comfortable than traditional flanges for most women. Larger-breasted women may find Super Shields more comfortable than our standard flanges too.

I just got the pumpin pal set directly from the manufacturer, and they are great. They hurt less than regular flanges and I get at least a half an ounce extra milk, plus I pump a little quicker.

These are simply ingenious. I'm really surprised that all pump flanges aren't angled this way to begin with. Clearly all breast pump accessories were designed by a man who has never had to use one! I'm exclusively pumping for my third baby, who is unable to nurse like my first two did. I'm spending anywhere from 2-3 hours a day sitting and pumping, and my back was KILLING me until I found these. Now I can sit up straight for a pump session (not with my shoulders hunched forward in the awkward and painful standard pump position) and my aching muscles are cheering for joy. I may have given up providing breast milk for my baby by now if I hadn't found these.

Also, they fit perfectly into my Medela connector so that I can use them in place of the flange instead of as an insert. Buy these, you need them!

These flanges allowed me to continue pumping and storing milk for my baby. I have the Medela PIS and desperately bought every size of flange but alas, all of them hurt me and warped the shape of my lady bits! I bought these directly from the manufacturer (cheaper) and they fit directly into the Medela PIS connectors. The Super Shields have made pumping a lot more comfortable. I do not know if they increased production but they did allow me to continue pumping when I was ready to quit. Thanks to these flanges, my baby can have expressed milk.

Pumping seems to come easily to a lot of people, but I was not one of them :( I have a Medela double electric pump and had a lot of trouble with the phlanges that came with it (they were clearly designed by a man). The Pumpin Pal phalanges has made pumping much more efficient and comfortable for me...I highly recommend this product!

I wish the lactation consultants in the hospital told me about these. I read about them in a book. They are wonderful! If you are pumping please do yourself a favor and buy them! They alleviate a lot of the discomfort in pumping and help to draw out more milk!
