don't bother. Sep 30, 2010

leaves my dark skinned kids very ashen and ghostly looking as it will not sink in. there is NO WAY i could use this product on my own skin. wish i had known as it is pricey stuff.
Update - My husband has been using this and found it made his eyes sting badly. Also the contents are now separating and fluid is leaking out of the bottle and causing all the printed text on the label to smudge off. All in all, don't bother with this product.

milky but smells yummy Aug 24, 2011
By busybee I've only used this on my son twice so far but it seems good but honestly, at 8.5 months old, I just try to keep him out of direct sunlight as much as possible. The first time we used this was for a pool party. I lathered him up and as soon as he got in the pool, a cloud formed around him in the water. I'm not sure if it was washing off or just the excess was coming off but I did wait about 15 minutes after applying it to him before putting him in the water. He didn't get burnt so that was good. Although I'm not sure if that was due to the sunscreen or just me being a protective mom. The one thing that I found odd about this product was that when I had some lotion on my hands and then grabbed the bottle to pump more into my hand, the ink on the bottle came off in my hand due to the lotion. I ended up getting a paper towel and wiping off all of the ink, or at least all that would easily come off which was most of it. Maybe it was a soy ink, I'm not sure since I couldn't read any of the words to find out. I have since used this product on myself and being a fair-skinned person, I did not get burnt so I do believe this product does its job and it really does smell good.

Like it, but... Jul 08, 2011
By Jennifer McGee I bought several natural sunscreens to try this summer and I do like this product for several reasons. I like how well it rubs in and it has protected my very fair sinned daughter well from burns. I do not like the smell. It smells like sicky sweet bubblegum. The scent does fade eventually, but it's very strong right when it's applied. Also, the words have completely disappeared from the label. Every time I use it and have even the slightest bit of sunscreen on my hands the printing on the label comes off on me. After a few uses the printing was gone completely. Unsure if I will buy this again.

Awesome Product Aug 17, 2010
By Nina Though the price is a little higher than what I would normally pay for sunscreen, since it was listed in a recent magazine article to be one of the top 10 sunscreens, I decided to splurge and give it a try. It was worth every penny! A little goes a long way because it's thick. It smells FANTASTIC; more like a scented lotion than a sunscreen. Once absorbed, you don't even feel like you're wearing sunscreen. AWESOME protection. I would recommend (and have!) this product to anyone who takes skin protection seriously, especially if you're active outdoors.

This Natural Sunscreen is FANTASTIC Jan 06, 2012
By 3C's I searched high & low for a sunscreen that provided 50+ spf coverage for my family. For people who are sunsensitive, extremely fair skinned or going thru radiation a high spf is essential in the summer. I found 3 natural sunscreens that were 50+. Sweetsation Therapy was the ONLY ONE that you were able to rub into your skin and not be overcast in white. My husband is olive skinned and had no problem at all w/this sunscreen... it's not greasy, in fact it's elegant and it held up in the pool on all of us. I am often irritated by sunscreens on my chest and face... this sunscreen did not cause any irritation at all, it smells amazing and we will not be without this sunscreen. I've never noticed the product to separate and there was no leaking of the bottle that we experienced. One bottle took three of us throughout the summer and we have a pool so there's a lot of sunscreen slathering going on over here. I like it better than California Baby's sunscreen because it is absorbed into your skin better, easier to apply to a squirmy kid and it's a higher SPF. I've since tried a number of Sweetsation Therapy products and have truly liked them ALL. Their ChocoButter is SOOO great if you have eczema or psoriasis.
