Organic ..yeah right..made with vinyl that creates toxic dust Aug 19, 2010
By Jennifer Jaynes I am really disgusted that I paid a premium to purchase the Organic version of this product only to discover the organic cotton was covering vinyl. These metals create a dust that can be inhaled or ingested if they have their mouths on them. PVC products contain and can leach toxic additives like phthalates, lead, cadmium, organotins, and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which are associated with reproductive and developmental problems, central nervous system damage, liver damage and other adverse health effects. During manufacturing and waste incineration PVC releases dioxins into the air. Dioxins are linked with cancer, diabetes, endometriosis, birth defects, infertility, and immunesystem depression. Organic...yeah right! Just another company misleading the public by selling something as safer and chemical free to just sell the same old toxic crap. Beware of Serta organic mattresses too. THe have organic pads covered with toxic flame retardant.

Doesn't fit as well as the regular Apr 22, 2010
By B. Smith I loved my regular ultimate crib sheets, but after a year the snaps started to break on one, so I needed another. The organic version was cheaper so I opted for it, but it's not as good. It's either shrunk or wasn't as big to begin with (I think the problem is shrinkage though). I wash my kids' sheets in hot water, and when I put this on the crib it is about 2 inches short both ways. Because of the elastic on the snaps it works OK, but it's harder to put on and because of the gap my son messes with the sides more than the other version.
I say go with the regular version until they get the sizing right on this one.

Great for newborns to toddlers! Aug 30, 2011
By immelbatoast I bought these when my son wasn't even born yet, he is now 14 months and I use them occasionally when he is sick. These were a LIFESAVER when he was a newborn though. Seems like everyone has their "diaper blow out" horror story, but with these I had to take more time to clean up my son than switch the sheets. I bought two and rotated them. The thing I loved most is the easy clean up because my son had acid reflux the first few months.
No issues, did it's job, and still going strong after 14 months and being switched out and laundered every couple days. Great product and a definite recommendation for any mom!
Added convenience, but too short Apr 25, 2012
By Katie M. Like other reviewers have noted, there is a definite benefit in only having to change this crib sheet by unsnapping it -- rather than having to strip the whole crib. But, it is too short at the head and foot of the crib and creates about a two-inch gap at each end. I have not had an issue with my son getting trapped or any other dangerous situation, but once he gets more mobile I will probably stop using it. I also had some issues due to the configuration of the crib (DaVinci Emily) in that the corner posts are wider than the other slats so I snapped the sheet to the post one in from the corner.
Very good idea Apr 16, 2012
By NYC Picky Buyer This is one of my favorite baby products! It's super easy to put on and take off, and it's machine washable. It's 100% water proof for all those leaky diapers. The organic option is great. The only "complaint" if any is that they shrink in the wash so they don't fit as nicely after a while, but it's not a big deal.
