Great quality Apr 13, 2010

The bed rail worked just right for us. Once you get it in place (it would help to have two people doing this), it stays on pretty well even when putting clean sheets back on. I did notice that it will not work on a bed box where the mattress sits inside the box because the rail has a plastic part that grips the box spring.

It DOES fit a Queen bed! Mar 31, 2010
By British Mummy I bought one of these at a local retailer yesterday on a whim, and figured I'd look at some reviews before taking it out of the box. Having read the reviews on here, I should have taken it straight back to the store, since several people have stated that it doesn't fit a queen sized bed (despite saying so on the box) - and I wanted to install it onto a queen sized bed. But I'm kind of stubborn and like to prove things for myself, so decided to give it a try. So I've just installed it on my own, in 20 minutes onto a queen bed. The straps were fine, so maybe they have changed the model, although it looks just like the one in the photo. My only issue was that I think I tried to install it too tightly. There is a bit of a step in size on the anchor bracket which implies that the mattress should be slightly smaller than the box spring base, so the mattress didn't want to fit snugly into place. But I loosened the straps a little and played around a bit and it seems fine. Haven't put it to the toddler test yet, but I don't foresee any issues.

No problems Oct 14, 2009
By J. Goring Instructions to install were easy enough to follow to put together and I was able to do it by myself. It's kind of a hassle and not necessarily easy to install, but that's what it takes to make the rail stay properly. I have to admit I was skeptical that it would hold up to the rigorous testing of my 2 year old pushing and putting his full weight on it, he's rather a rough and energetic lil guy. But, it has stayed in place pretty firmly and even when I fully lean on it. I'm happy with this purchase.

Will not fit Queen size beds as advertised. Jan 23, 2010
By M. Millhouse Not happy with it. The elbows are cheap plastic which look like they will break easily. The box advertises that it fits a queen size bed and it was about 8 inches short! I did end up taking the plastic tips off and adding a piece of material myself so that I could use the rail. But, if I wasn't stationed on an island in the middle of the Atlantic I would have returned it and bought a different name brand that worked as advertised.

too big for a crib Mar 25, 2012
By szkata we purchased two regular sized cribs; one for our 3 year old daughter and one for our 1 year old son. For our daughter we immediately converted the bed into a toddler bed. Since we wanted to prevent her falling down we bought this bedrail. However, unforunately this is too big for the bed and she cannot conveniently move in and out of the bed. Now we are considering to remove it but then I will probably need to purchase a different, smaller one. Otherwise it is a good bedrail; seems strong and secure.
