Great for small infants Dec 23, 2011

This travel bed is great for newborns and small infants.
Once your child starts rolling over though, you'll need something else.
Our daughter will now roll right out of this travel bed, so setting it on the floor is imperative.
It was great the first 4-5 months though. It folds up compactly, and is easy to put in the car when we visit grandparents or friends. Works great for nap time, or when we're staying out past her bedtime and she's ready to go down. The shoulder strap makes it easy to cary the car seat, diaper bag, and the travel bed all at once.
I actually just ordered a PeaPod to replace this bed, so we can zip her in there and not worry about her rolling away.

This is a GREAT little Travel bed! I had a similar one back in the 80's and I never left home without it. I have been looking for one like I had, for my daughter's new baby, and this is very similar in style and portability, but has a lot of improvements over mine. IT COMES with a sheet!!! (although any bassinet sheet will fit too). It has the little toy arch, it has little ventilation windows which I think is much better than the big mesh sides that some of the portable beds have (keeps it still private and quiet so baby isn't distracted by goings on around him as much, yet there is good airflow too). Nice neutral colors...and big and roomy, bigger than the one I had. It also doubles as a changing table. If you feel like sitting under a tree in the park, or stopping at a friend's house, there is always a clean, safe place to let your baby take a nap or to change it diaper right next to you. Then fold it up, throw the strap over your shoulder and off you go. You can even stuff a few diapers, a recieving blanket and some baby wipes inside of it and get by without a diaper bag for short visits. No "on the move" mom should be without one of these!

Perfect for travelling and at home. Can't imagine not having it. Best money ever spent on a baby item....would recommend this item to all new parents. Makes life so easy when visiting, travelling and even shopping..highly recommend.

Really love this travel bed. My daughter (7 months) needed her own space while we travel. We travel pretty frequently so we needed something light and not too heavy. She loves it and she can sleep in it for hours at a time. I love the fact it doesn't take up too much space and it's very soft but not too soft. We take this pretty much everywhere we go, so that she can fall asleep and be comfortable. For example we love taking her travel bed to the park with us. Also we don't have to lug around the big Pack and Play, this is so much better.

Needed a portable infant bed for a newborn for a couple of months so that I could babysit my grandchild for a few hours at a time once in a while. This product is perfect for that purpose until a more permanent sleeping surface is necessary.
