 The best crib for small spaces Mar 28, 2010

I purchased this crib last summer when we were expecting our daughter. Her room is quite small, and we did not have sufficient space for both a crib and a changing table (at least not if we wanted anything else in the room). This seemed like the perfect solution. My husband and I have extremely high standards when it comes to furniture. Our taste runs to modern design (Cassina, Minotti, Molteni, Flexform), and we wanted a crib that fit in with our contemporary decor. This crib had received rave reviews when it debuted at the design shows (ICFF et al). Nonetheless, we were a bit concerned about ordering it sight unseen. When it arrived, we were amazed by the quality of both the materials and the craftmanship. One does not usually find such quality in children's furnishings (and believe me, we had looked a great deal). The assembly instructions were clear and concise, and we assembled the crib with ease (although it did take the two of us, given the weight of the solid wood portions). Assembled, the crib is simply stunning. Its lines are perfection, and the contrast of the zebrawood against the white lacquer is magnificent. Moreover, it is an extremely solid (indeed, too solid for anyone who requires a crib that can be moved about a room--this is a very, very heavy crib) and durable piece of furniture. It is imminently practical for use in small spaces--the two lower drawers provide ample storage space for spare crib bedding and changing pads, while the shelves beneath the changing table hold extra diapers. The design of the fold-out changing table is simply brilliant--first, a locking mechanism prevents the table from being folded up while your child is on it. Second, behind the changing table is a well-designed "diaper caddy/organizer" space which neatly organizes diapers, creams and wipes into their own individual (and perfectly sized) sections so that they are all within reach during diaper changes. The careful thought given to the design of this crib is evident in every detail. It combines practicality, quality construction, and aesthetics. Our grandchildren will be using this crib.

 Big Problems With This Order Dec 29, 2008
Had a lot of trouble with this company, took almost a month till i got all the products rigth. Customer support seemed friendly but at the end it still took too long.
I would have to think real hard before giving them any bussines again.
