This flavor was a big hit the first time, but has since been a little difficult.
I think it's the parmesan that gives it a bit stronger taste. We'll keep trying it!

We were BIG fans of Sprout- had a great experience with a lot of the flavors-until this flavor. My daughter actually got sick. The food was thicker and I thought maybe that is they was it was supposed to be-not true. I bought more of the lentil bolganese kind which she absolutley loved and we gave to her quite a few times... I bought several....The first package of the was a thick almost solid consistency. I opened a total of 5 of the packages and they were all solid-not the experience that I had had in the past except for the parmesean potato. Something was very wrong. I had it happen with 2 of the Parmesean Potato and 5 of the Lentil Bolgenese. I sent an email to Sprout and didn't hear a word back from them. There was something seriously wrong with some of their food that was sent out. I won't be wasting my money or taking my chances with Sprout. we have had wonderful success with Happy Baby and Plum.

So we're 50-50 on this one. I think the price is reasonable, and I like the packaging. It tastes ok for baby food. My baby has days where he'll eat more than a couple bites of this, others not. I wouldn't have thought of giving my baby potatoes with parmesan at his age yet (9 months) but we are a little more relaxed as third time parents and want to get him used to different foods early on. (We are also tyler florence fans!) Anyway we thought we'd give it a shot. We will, as they recommend, continue to offer it, but I'll say this is not one of his favorite sprout flavors compared to say the roasted bananas and brown rice.

I bought this product because we knew Tyler Florence was a wonderful chef and thought for sure it'd be great. I tasted this first and about gagged. Made my hubby try it and he spit it out. The color and texture is weird and unappealing. We bought some other flavors and will give them a try, but this one went in the trash can!

Our 9 month old baby cannot get enough of this meal. It has just enough flavor to keep her interested. Texture is just right. I was hesitant about the Parmesan at first but dd thought it was great. Great on the go because it is white-ish in color so I am not worried about feeding the baby while she's in the stroller wearing a minimalist bib.
