4Tasty  May 02, 2011
By Aaron Storm
My daughter started on Sprout at 5.5 months and she has loved all Stage 1 foods, especially the peas and bananas. I recently ran out of peas and gave her some organic Gerber peas while waiting to get more Sprout vegetables in the mail. She refused to eat them-literally gagged and fussed. I switched to a Sprout fruit, and she couldn't get it down fast enough. So...there is a taste difference.

I ordered cases of all and the expiration dates ranged from 1 year to 1 month from date I received them which was quite annoying. Hoping for a decent shelf life with my entire next order as I have a hard time finding a variety of flavors in our local grocery stores. I also love that I am introducing her to high quality, organic ingredients with no DHA added. Engineered supplemental DHA is not organic and doesn't seem like a healthy choice when looking at how it is made.

Packaging tip: If your baby eats a whole package-cut the corner off the top and squeeze it out that way-no resealable lip to go over.

5We love Sprout and this is the best one!  Dec 08, 2010
By Cynthia C. Eberhardt "CCEber"
My son loves the apples and blueberries. This is the one flavor he consistently eats without any problems.

Now my husband has discovered how yummy this is and has been adding it to his own oatmeal.

Great product!

I love this baby food. I'd eat it. Its safe, healthy, simple ingredients - just blueberries and apples. Baby loves too. And the packaging makes it easy to transport

5Tastes and smells like real food!  Sep 14, 2011

My 6 month old loves all the Spout foods we have tried so far. And my 3 yr old is always asking if he can have a bite, too. This one smells and tastes like homemade. The package is resealable, which is nice.
