Get this pillow! You'll be happy you did. Better than Boppy. Apr 13, 2011
By lmac I have a Boppy & a My Breast Friend. While I love the My Breast Friend, it's kind of bulky & hard to get comfortable with on my back. I ordered the Gia last week based on the other reviews & I am thrilled I did. It's great. It puts the baby up higher so you don't have to bend over. He's lying on an angle, so better for him to digest as well. This is SOOO much better than the Boppy. I love it!

Best nursing pillow ever! Dec 02, 2010

I have used almost all of the pillows on the market. The boppy, my breast friend, and a quite expensive organic nursing pillow. The Gia tops them all. The main problem I had with the nursing pillows prior to the Gia was that I had to stuff a pillow under her head in order to not have to hold her up. And then when I switched breasts, I would have to resituate the pillow under the other side all while she was screaming her little head off in anticipation to finish her meal. All you have to do with the Gia is flip it around. So easy. We also used it on the floor for her when she was not sitting up on her own and now she just lounges on it. Can't say enough good things about this pillow.

Much better then the boppy! Feb 11, 2012

This is pretty expensive for a nursing pillow, but its so worth it! I have had the Boppy for my 1st child and it was okay. I always felt it was a bit flat and didn't really offer a full potential of support as it could have. This time around I planned to exclusively nurse (no bottles yet!) I needed to get myself everything I needed to make the process as comfortable as possible.
I'm so glad I found this pillow. It truely is a step above the boppy! It is made of much better quality, is way more plush and throughtfully so. For expample, the plush starts waning towards the pointy part to accomodate the growing child's larger head/frame. The covers you can purchase for it are also really lovely and again much better thicker quality then the boppy.
I highly recommend this item and hope people skip the boppy and go for this... as now I'm stuck with 3 poppy's that were $40 each and utterly useless now....

Works wonders! Feb 09, 2011
By lis0113 I gave this item to my sister who is currenly nursing. She had uses the boppy before the Gia. She said there is a huge difference. So much easier to keep the baby's head up. As well, very easy to switch sides. She loves it! She says she wished she had had the Gia the whole time.

Good shape Dec 07, 2011

I really wanted to LOVE this pillow but I only like it. I like that one end is smaller. I have tried the Breast Friend and after two babies it was very thin. I have a long torso and was looking for something to be thicker. I got this one in hopes that it would be the perfect fit. I read the reviews on it and a lot of people said they had a long torso and it was great for them. Maybe mine is extra long? Top of shoulder to top of hip is 16in roughly. I also really liked that the Breast Friend wrapped around and didn't move. So my solution...use both! I have the Breast Friend on bottom and the Gia pillow on top, it doesn't move as easily and is higher. I'm tired of spending money on it honestly.
