New favorite storage bag May 06, 2011
By Macaroon These storage bags are a little pricey, but the material is thicker/stronger than the Lansinoh bags (which I had a leakage problem with) and it has the double closure (which the Medela bags do not). The labels are easy to mark and they stand upright and the measurements are pretty accurate. I use these with the first years milk storage organizer and it works great.

Great for freezing! Feb 09, 2011
By NewKCMom These bags are great for freezing! Just lay them flat in your freezer and they freeze into perfect little "bricks." I tried doing the same with other bags and they don't freeze as flat or hold as much milk. These bags are also made of a thick plastic and have a double zip closure to make sure it's all sealed in.

Good, sturdy bags Apr 13, 2011
By puchunga These bags seem nicer and sturdier than the Lansinoh bags. The Simplisse plastic is thicker and the bags don't plop over (unlike Lansinoh). I have not tried to defrost them, yet, however, so I don't know if there's any issue with leaking. Only cons are the higher price and that it's a bit harder to tear the seam on top as there's a little curve on the sides. First couple of bags I ripped a bit too much but thankfully they were still usable.

Best breastmilk storage bags Mar 01, 2011
By Chris Robinson These are my favorite bags - they are very thick and have double seals, very well made. They are marked to hold 6oz but can really seal well with 8 in there if needed.

Awful. Jun 20, 2011

I purchased these bags from Babies R Us because they were buy one get one 50% off, and I go through a LOT of breast milk bags. When I use the Lansinoh or Honeysuckle bags, I pour the milk into the bag and carefully squeeze out the excess air. Then I seal the bags and gently squeeze the bag to test the seal. These bags FAILED every time. The corners of the seal ALWAYS let milk through! The seals SUCK. I usually freeze my bags flat so I tried it, and I found frozen milk drips in my freezer from where the bags had leaked. I thought it was only one box, but I had two and both of the boxes were like this. If you want a better deal on bags, look up Honeysuckle here on Amazon. You can't beat 300 bags for $44 bucks and I have never had a leak with those bags!
