Description:

This guitar by Sevi is a welcome step up from the usual childrens guitars that sound more like rubber bands on a cardboard box than actual music. This bright multicolored, wooden guitar is just the right size for kindergarteners, and is strung with 6 strings, which can each be tuned just like a real guitar! The sound of this guitar is light, rather like a cross between a standard guitar and a ukulele, and can be played either by hand or with the included pick. The guitar makes an excellent introduction to the world of music, though it should be noted that it is first and foremost a toy, not a professional instrument.

Nice but strings keep getting loose. Mar 14, 2009

The guitare looks good, is fairly sturdy and ... my daughter has fun with it (and the parents feel good about this kind of funeducational toy). Only problem: the strings kept turning loose and Daddy spends a lot of time putting them back in place.

Very poor construction - broke after a day Nov 06, 2010

This toy guitar is not worth buying. We ordered it for our son who loves guitars & music. It arrived and he was very excited about it. It is now a day later. The strings all come loose and it fell apart at the neck (into two pieces). Very disappointing!

Our 1-year old carries this Guitar everywhere! Apr 30, 2012

The guitar is really cute, and the perfect size for our 1-year old. He pushes it around the house and will choose this toy over all others. Also, our 3-year old friend thinks it is "better than any of her toys". Grandpa says there is no way the guitar can actually be tuned, so I am not sure that it makes quality music, but I do think it inspires the kids!
