In love with this stroller Apr 11, 2011
By Missamy I am a full time mom of a 7 month old and before my pregnancy, I liked to jog. I was worried that I would not be able to continue running but I found this stroller and absolutely fell in love with the fact that it was so lightweight. I read up on what kind of jogging stroller to buy and found out that it was recommended to purchase an aluminum frame over any thing else because it was light. I also read that it was best to purchase a jogging stroller with a fixed front wheel as the ones that you could lock and unlock did not hold up well. I actually liked the fixed wheel. A little bit of pressure on one side of the handle bars will turn it and work out your pecs and arms too! I actually like running even more now than I did before my daughter came with me! Another feature that I like is the easy to lock wheels. If I stop (there is a brake but I don't use it, haven't had to yet) all I have to do is step on the bar and it locks everything so it won't move. I got so used to it that I try to raise my foot to step on the bar of the regular stroller to lock it and end up looking stupid because I'm stomping the ground. The only con is the drink holder- you can't stand your water bottle up in it, you have to lay it it's side in the flat tray instead of the drink holder. Then I don't have a place for my cell phone and keys. It would also be nice if the tray had a lid that you could close down over the items you put in it. If I'm not careful they can bounce out. The basket underneath is the perfect size for a diaper bag too. It feels very stable and the harness is secure-for an older infant. I would not recommend it for smaller babies- I don't think the harness would hold them in as well. I hope this review helps!

not just cheap stroller Sep 11, 2008
By David Mack This is a well designed, well made lightweight stroller. Schwinn has been around for over a hundred years for a reason. THEY MAKE GOOD STUFF! As expensive as these kind of strollers can be, this one is not just a good value. It is a great stroller. Most important of all, my grandson LOVES riding in it!
Good quality but BIG stroller Mar 23, 2012
By Smdinnen This is a nice jogging stroller particularly if you have a toddler/pre-schooler as it is longer in the seat than some I have seen and lets the child sit farther forward. There are two brakes, a front hand break at the handlebar level and a rear break by your feet.
I previously had a Baby Jogger City Edition that I loved but was destroyed in a storm. This Schwinn is about $100 cheaper than the Baby Jogger line. This model looks quite sporty and is overall a good weight and the material appears high quality.
My one complaint, and forewarning to other shoppers, is this is a HUGE stroller. It does not fold together neatly because the wheels are large and the front wheel does not swivel. Thus, even at its most compact it is still not really all that compact. I have a Toyota Camry and I can barely fit in in my trunk height wise. I would caution anyone whoe has small storage space or needs to fit anything else in the trunk along with it to consider a more compact jogging stroller.
