This is a wonderful hat. It is very soft, withstands many washings, has great stretch, and doesn't seem to bother my daughter the way other hats have. She is a small baby and the hat has fit her from newborn to 4 months old. We live in MN and it has been warm enough for her. If your baby's head is larger than average, I would not recommend this, especially after 3 months of age.

I'm very happy with the hat. I needed something heavier than another Satsuma Design hat (cotton and for newborn). The fabric is substantial and very soft. I like the simple design and color. It SO nice to see baby clothes which are not pink and blue. I've purchased a few other Satsuma Designs products, and I'm very happy with all of them. 5 stars for design and 5 stars for quality.

Not a good fit for my baby May 11, 2011

The shape of this hat is more suited for babies with a long head. It did not fit my baby's head well at all and covered half of her face. Now that she is older, the hat is too narrow to fit over her head.
