Satsuma Designs swaddling blanket is made in the USA of fiber (viscose from bamboo). Our lightweight, double-ply blanket is a generous 35"X35" square for a comfortable swaddle every time. Not only for swaddling, our jersey weight blanket is perfect for nursery use, tummy time and on the go. A perfect day-to-day blanket, Satsuma Designs products are easy to care for, durable and elegantly fashioned for every personal style. The blanket includes our iconic Satsuma Designs logo label and care instructions. Our products are fashioned from viscose (rayon fiber), which is a material softer than the softest cotton making it a great material for use in children's accessories and apparel. All of Satsuma Designs blankets are ultra soft and double-ply for a cozy, yet breathable solution for every nursery in every climate. While standard care instructions apply, Satsuma Designs recommends cold and gentle machine washing and line drying.

Not only is this blanket a great swaddler, super soft, and antibacterial, but bamboo fabric helps to protect babies from the suns harmful rays. We used ours on a trip to Hawaii with our two week old and it worked beautifully. The jersey material is perfect for warmer temperatures and the velour blanket is especially warm and cozy when it's colder. As others have said, it comes beautifully packaged and makes a great gift. Also check out the hats and changing table covers.

This blanket is everything you could want for baby: soft, great for swaddling, antibacterial, and attractive. I didn't know about Satsuma when my girls were young, but now it's my favorite gift to give new parents. It comes beautifully packaged and everyone loves them.

I received the swaddling blanket as a gift for my newborn and absolutely love it! The material is extremely soft and stretchy allowing for easy swaddling. It arrived in a beautiful package. Would definitely recommend - excellent gift idea! I wish I had one for my first baby!
