Fell apart May 19, 2012
By CB I ordered these for my niece, and my sister says the elastic fell out the first time she put them on. She ended up having to throw them in the trash.
The best baby mittens Feb 19, 2012
By eek031880 I received these mittens as a gift for my baby shower for my little girl. I had purchased another pair of mittens made by Small Sprouts that were organic and very soft, so I considered returning these for credit. I am so glad I didn't. The day my daughter was born she really began to claw and scratch at her face, as many newborns do. My husband brought the mittens to the hospital and we were not very happy that the Small Sprout mittens would not stay on her hands. The elastic was very loose and the mittens were too large around her small wrists. The Satsuma mittens worked perfectly. The elastic was much tighter, but not too tight and the mittens were smaller in size for her little hands. I was also much more pleased with the thicker fabric, even though they were not quite as soft or organic. My daughter wore these for the first few weeks and they washed very well.
Only pair that actually stays on!!! Jan 20, 2012
By Sana Alam I was given a whole bunch of mittens and i bought these. My 2 month daughter is a mover so loses her cap and mittens in her sleep. These are the only pair that stayed on thru the nite :) There aren't too tight either and have survived the million times we have put them in the wash (still soft).
infant mittens Nov 11, 2011
By jennifer delacruz Brunst Carpio I bought two pairs of these mittens (one in natural and the other in pink). These mittens were exactly what I was looking for, because the other more popular brands often came off, made for obviously a healthier baby. My daughter is on the petite side (asian) and never had a problem with these coming off. Although when you are ready to wash them, you really should hand wash or just do it in the washer but not dryer because they WILL definitely shrink. The seller also delivered before the estimated date.
