Works great for a cost effective monitoring solution Oct 24, 2010

I registered for this monitor originally to use as a travel monitor and had a higher price, fancy monitor in mind for everyday home use. Well... we use this every night and works great in our home. We have been using for 10 weeks and have not experienced any issues yet (I have read many reviews which state it just stops working out of the blue). Being 49mHz it will interfere with mobile devices, so I keep the monitor on the dresser across the room when sleeping so I can keep my cell at my bedside (which I use as my alarm clock).

It's almost perfect. You can hear even a little movement of your baby before he/she cry.
cons:
You'll hear a loud noise from receiver after shutdown the sender.
The receiver is larger than I thought...

Great product. Wonderful upgrade from the last one. Clear sound, compact design and I love LOVE the on/off button. The last one I had to rotate the dial.

Just purchased this monitor and I am satisfied with it! I hear my daughter cry & move around, but it doesn't pick up any static or interference. I do have to turn it up all the way in order for it to be audible to me (but I do have it across the room from my daughter's crib). I also like the digital thermometer on the front. It's worth the money!

We purchased this monitor for a different purpose...we put one down in our kitchen and the other upstairs so that we can hear the timers. It works great! Who woulda thunk?!
