Received the replacement from Amazon and this one is what the first one should have been. The only complaint that I do have is that the screws that are given for the drawer handles aren't all the same length but they do work, just makes it a little bit more difficult.
Since the dresser already comes most of it fitted it didn't take too long to put the rest of it together. The top attachment isn't even so doesn't stay completely flat. I tried with muscle strength to see if we could get it to stay flat while screwing it on but to no avail. The legs screwed in very easily and all that was left was drilling the screws into the drawer handles.
The dresser is very stable and solid. Would last your child for years to come. I must say that it is also very heavy so you'll need help moving it from room to room.

For the price of this dresser you would expect to get it and be able to use it. Unfortunately when it arrived from Amazon shipped via a 3rd party delivery service it was sadly un-useable. I must say that you need to be available or have someone available since there is signature required in order for them to leave it and they do call you to set up a delivery window in which they'll deliver.
The dresser itself is very sturdy and comes 80% fitted already so there is no need to worry yourself about how you're going to set it up compared to most dressers on Amazon's website. The only things needed to put together are the legs, the knobs and the top attachment at the back. It's made of real wood so you know that you'll get your moneys worth.
I'm not sure if I got a dud but Amazon as usual was very easy to deal with and I'm now in the process of getting another replacement. The reason we're in need of replacement is that once we opened the box there was a huge crack in the wood at the top of the dresser. If it was any other color I would have kept it but because it's of a white finish, the crack was very much visible. The back of the dresser as well which is screwed on was not. The screws were coming loose and the cardboard backing was coming apart. The drawers as well once opened was almost impossible to close.
I'm really hoping this is not the case with the replacement because it's a very nice looking dresser that would look great in any nursery. Once I get the replacement and everything is fine with that once I'll update my review and increase my stars.
