1Made in China  Mar 08, 2012

After the arsenic scare with baby formula, I looked into the source for all of my baby food. Plum Organics never responded to my email asking for information on where the product is made. I finally found it under a link regarding the makers of the packaging. Not sure many organic baby food purchasers would be thrilled to know that this is made at the Hosokawa Yoko plant in CHINA. 5Great product and packaging  Feb 16, 2011
By Allison Kulow "crochet queen"
I love the convenience of these packets. They are so much easier to pack and go. I don't have to worry about glass breaking in the diaper bag anymore. Love the fact that the fruit is organic. The prunes themselves are great for a beginning eater. There isn't much texture to it, so I add it to cereal and other things for my almost 8 month old son. If you are just starting feeding, this would be a great one to try, but it's great as a mixer for older eaters, as well.

4Helps baby poop!  Jan 03, 2012

Our 6 month old loved it and it helped him poop! The value is good on Amazon and it seemed to have a flavor that our picky baby liked.

5Baby Prunes YUM!  Jan 03, 2012
By jlacek1774
When my son has been eating solid foods since about 3 1/2 months old. He was a LARGE newborn weighing in at 10 lbs 14.4 oz at birth. I exclusively breast feed him for the first 3 1/2 months, then he started getting fussy every time we would eat so with the doctors permission, we started feeding him by spoon baby cereal. By 4 months I was instructed by the doctor that it was okay to start feeding him fruits and veggies in moderation. I make all of his baby food with the Beabe Cook baby food maker organically and A LOT cheaper than buying the jars. He is still a HUGE baby, however, NOT fat he is in the 100th percentile in all areas of growth such as height and weight. When he turned about 5 1/2 months, his pooping became irregular, so I started feeding him Plum Organics Baby Prunes as I have NO idea how I would even begin to make prunes pureed enough for a 6 month old to eat. They are VERY runny, and somewhat difficult for him to keep in his mouth as it is like trying to feed a baby liquid soup with a spoon...NOT easy. To solve this problem, I thickened it with a little baby cereal, and walla they are perfect, and he absolutely LOVES them! Also, glad to say his pooping has gone to a normal state. I only feed him 1/2 the tube as I don't want to give him diarrhea, he gets 1/2 a tube of prunes and then some other fruit for breakfast. Than he has a green veggie and an orange veggie for lunch, and breast milk the rest of the day, and night.

5prune pouches  Dec 27, 2011

I wish they had these when I had my son. These pouches are such a great idea! You don't ever have to double dip or dirty up another bowl. Just squeeze some directly onto the spoon and feed it to your child. It's so sanitary! Also love that it's just the fruit and organic.
