Awesome! Nov 18, 2010
By Kopp-Kah Mama We got this for my son for his 2nd birthday and he LOVES it!! 6 months later it is still one of his favorite toys. His dad and I actually love it too! We bought this from an actual kid's store in person so we knew exactly how big it was before we bought it. That said, I love the size of it. It's bigger than matchbox cars (maybe by about 4x- like 2 on top of 2 ) but still small enough that it doesn't take up much room when we take it with us places and also small enough that I don't mind when my son drives it around on the kitchen table. Plus it's light weight and fits well in his little hand. He loves fire engines and also "bucket trucks" which this also basically is, so he is Super happy with it. He loves to put things in the little bucket part and drive them around. We actually bough him a plastic, exact model of a FDNY fire truck which is about twice as big as this one on the same day and while he adores this one as well, he seems to prefer the plan toy truck. -I'm happy with that because it is Super Cute (looks way better than in the picture listed) and simple and I love that the company is eco-friendly. For us it has definitely been worth the money because my son loves it and plays with it so much and also because I love supporting an eco-friendly company with simpler toys that leave more for the child's imagination. It's a really good quality toy. The Only thing I would say is that if I had it to do over, I would buy the whole plan toys fire station instead, because for about the price of this truck plus one more you get this same fire engine, another little fire truck, and and a whole fire house with a working door and bell!

Little wooden fire engine Jan 07, 2010
By Outdoor mom We purchased this fire engine for my 20-month old son several weeks ago. He loves the fire engine and has played with it several times. For some reason I thought it was going to be a little bigger, but it is rather small, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It appears to be very well made and we have not had any problems with it. The parts move, and so far my son has not broken any pieces off, which is saying something about the durability!

Small Small Small. Sep 04, 2010
By Robert Lauterbach I bought this as a gift for a 2 year old. When I went to visit him and he showed me the truck, I was shocked. It is TINY. I cannot believe how much I paid for such a small toy. It seems to be good quality, and I know this is an expensive company, but this is NOT worth the money.
Great buy! Dec 29, 2011
By vitaminne This was purchased for my 3 1/2 year old son and he really loves it. Its smaller than I expected but it is very durable and very cute. The moving parts glide with ease and the quality of the craftsmanship is a super bargain considering the price.
Grandson's top five toys Dec 15, 2011
By Anne Our 16 month old grandson loves this. It's small and light and fits his hands. He floats around with this fire truck running along any horizontal or vertical surface dreamily repeating wee-oo wee-oo, as he exercises his imagination. From my point of view it's too light weight to do damage as it collides with our furniture, and it is quiet, which is sometimes a relief. His puppy chewed part of the end but it was easily glued together again. The colour makes it easy to find when he abandons it somewhere, which he only does occasionally. It's the kind of toy he likes to take everywhere with him. In terms of knowing before I bought, I was not sure how big it would be.
