Excellent pump Apr 06, 2012
By Tamas I've used a couple different hospital pumps, and one other brand of manual pump. Needless to say, the double-sided electric pumps that hospitals use are extremely convenient and fast. A manual pump like this one, however, is much more affordable and practical. Now that I know how easy manual pumps are, I can only imagine an electric one would be necessary if you pump multiple times per day, every day. When I first started using this pump, I found it to be much messier than the other manual I had used, with the added unpleasantness of pain. I had to align the flange JUST SO in order to keep it from hurting. Milk kept getting under the cushion despite ensuring it was sealed all the way around. I didn't feel like there was enough room for my nipple to move. After a few different attempts, I decided to pump without the "let down cushion." Amazing enough, it immediately became the most comfortable pump I've used yet! The surface of the flange WITHOUT the cushion is very clean, smooth and comfortable, and has plenty of room to keep the nipple from rubbing against it. It's easy to adapt speed and suction to your own preference and comfort. I can pump a good 3 oz in about ten minutes on one side and my hand doesn't tire at all. I highly recommend this pump without its gimmicky cushion.
By the way, I did receive the entire product: carrying case, extra bottles, ice pack, and spare parts.

Incomplete! May 11, 2012
By alex I was excited to get my package today since I am due in two weeks. Unfortunately it was not what I paid for! It is missing a lot of things which were the reason why I had picked this particular brand. On the go, right? Where is the black travel case, the 2nd 4 oz container, the microfiber travel bag? Where are the 2 cool packs? Very disappointing! I am returning it to Amazon today and getting a refund!

Wrong Item May 10, 2011
By LisaC This is being advertised as the On The Go Breast Pump Set which comes w/ travel case etc....Pic is advertising Out & About Set. I ordered it and received a manaual breast pump which does not come w/ travel case etc. Walmart is advertising the same thing but sending the same wrong item in the mail. This is the wrong item...especially for the price. Amazon is resending promising that they will send the right item this time (which Walmart also did and still was wrong). It is a huge inconvienence to have to print out return labels, repackage and send back. This will be my 3rd return, hopefully when I receive it tomorrow from Amazon I will get the right item and will not have to do this a 4th time...then have to go and research again where to purchase it. It is better to purchase in store where you can see that the item you are buying is the right one. Again this does not come as the Travel On The Go Set...they send you the one pump & extra nipple cap...which is wrong...especially for $49. As far as reviewing the pump...I will get to that once I can get my item and use it! Okay...Amazon sent the right one this time. I have contacted Phillips, Amazon & Walmart so I'm sure they are correcting the issue. Was a bit of a pain at first but it finally worked out:)

The Best Breast Pump and the Cheapest too! Sep 26, 2011
By Dot This pump is absolutely the best! Had I not discovered this pump I am sure that I would not have been able to breastfeed my son for the full one year recommended by doctors. This pump is effective at expressing milk in a short period of time and without the pain. I wish more doctors would recommend it so more women could be successful at breastfeeding. I tried 2 other electric pumps and none worked as well as this one. I tell every new mom about this product who I know wants to breastfeed so that they too can have a successful experience. If you get the out and about pack you can easily pump anywhere and store your milk and take it home with you with the privacy needed. This is the pump to go with.

Wrong product being sent May 28, 2011

This item arrived with just the pump; no traveling case, which means I paid twice the price of the product's value without receiving anything extra. It happened to another buyer, too. Do not order from this seller! I will be returning.
