Won't go anywhere without it! Aug 31, 2011
By Gayle M I bought this for my second baby. My first I had Itzbeen, which I loved, but when I was searching to buy another Itzbeen, I stumbled across the Onaroo, and I'm SO glad I did. This tracks everything from feedings and diaper changes to medicines and growth. Then not only that, you can transfer all the data onto the computer and print out reports of it all. I find it very interesting to track my babies habits. You just have to remember to change the batteries when it starts giving you warnings to, I learnt that the hard way and lost my initial entries. Other than that, I love it, and seriously, I have it with me where ever I go. One other unexpected bonus, it comes with amazing customer support! I really strongly recommend this product to anyone with a newborn/s (it can track more than one baby!) - even my husband thinks its pretty cool! I just wish I'd had it for my first so I could of compared my two boys.

A Lifesaver Jul 14, 2011
By eeeeee My wife and I had our first child a few months back. Since bringing her home from the hospital, life has been amazing, but it has also been hard to remember which end is up. Yet since we got a PBA, life has become a that much easier. And wow does every little bit help. Despite the name, the Personal Baby Assistant will not do the night feeding shift or change diapers for you. It will however help you do things like remember when you fed or changed a diaper last, or even when medicine was given. Seemingly simple things become pretty complicated when you are a new parent, and life without the PBA would have been that much more impossible. Did we give her Zantac yet? How long since her last nap? Left or right one last? And the neat thing is you can see a log of all of this online (if you choose). Who knew I changed 176 diapers last month?
Get a PBA. You don't know what you have been missing, or how easy it is to reclaim some sanity. Or pick one up for a friend in need. They will thank you.

Very helpful Apr 09, 2012
By Kattank I love the PBA. It was especially helpful when the baby was first born because you're so tired then and it's hard to keep up with all the feedings, changings, and sleep. It's really cool that you can put in pumping sessions too. It helps cut down on the worry of whether or not your baby is on track with their health. :)

Great item, some bugs, eats batteries like candy Apr 05, 2012
By E. Milner We've been using this device to track information on our two week old son. It works really well and it's very easy to enter and retrieve data. It's definitely worth having, for any new parents comfortable with technology.
We have noticed the occasional software bug when retrieving information from the unit - sometimes the daily totals on one screen don't match the totals on another screen. Not a big deal. This thing eats batteries like mad though; I replaced them a couple of days ago and already it's showing a low battery alert. So stock up on AA batteries - or maybe try rechargeables (we haven't).
The free web account on the Onaroo website is easy to use too, but it took a little while to figure out how to download the computer software for connecting the unit to the website. The URL for the download is listed in the unit's instruction book.

Noisy little thing Feb 02, 2011
By L. Monahan This is a great idea, but missed the mark for me. I am giving three stars in fairness, since I have hardly used it long enough to comment on its functionality and user interface. I ordered it after signing up on the website for free use of Onaroo's online baby tracker and then realized that it would be way easier to upload the info from their handheld device.
I am a long-time user of the Itzbeen timer for baby and LOVE that one with some complaints: 1) Wish that it was smarter and could tally number of sleep segments, diapers, etc and then show me charts (Onaroo's PBA is supposed to do this). 2) Wish that it was quieter. Now that my baby is 9 months old, clicking the buttons at night disturbs him. Onaroo's PBA did NOT solve that problem. In fact, it was significantly louder, making such a racket that within 5 min of opening the box and setting the clock on it *click! click! click*, I decided that it was ultra annoying and must go back where it came from.
