Fantastic bag Feb 09, 2008
By Jennifer I have had this bag for over a year, and I absolutely love it. I researched for weeks before I invested in it, and I am convinced I found the best bag for me. I have literally dragged it all over the world, from restaurants to markets to airplanes, and I am not exaggerating when I tell you it looks like the day I bought it. It went through the washing machine today (on gentle) and dried within a few hours. It is still in such perfect condition both inside and out that I showed it to my husband and asked, "if I told you I bought this today, would you believe me?" He answered, "absolutely. That's pretty amazing quality."
Pros:
-lightweight -waterproof (I spilled 1/2 a sippy of apple juice in the outside pocket, and the inside stayed dry) -soft matching changing pad and insulated bottle holder -convenient pockets -thick, comfortable, adjustable strap (long enough to sling or short enough to be a stroller bag) -plenty of room, but not too bulky -little foot studs on the bottom keep it clean -sleek design (someone asked me about my designer bag, and was shocked it was a diaper bag)
Cons:
- OiOi doesn't make purses. What will I do when I don't need a diaper bag anymore?
I just wish my son's babyhood would last as long as this bag will. It was worth every penny.

Stylish, Midsized . . . but has some flaws Apr 18, 2010
By M. Kelley I've owned this (black dots with green interior) bag and used it as my primary diaper bag for just under two years. As mentioned above, "pros" include great durability, good interior space, enough pockets (and a zip interior pocket), two clips for keys, the light colored inside (makes it easier to find things inside), and slim design (I'm not knocking people over with a huge bag).
My two biggest complains are the slippery slidey strap and small "bottle" pockets. I've had a hard time keeping the seat belt like strap on my shoulder while wearing some jackets that are also a little slippery. So, I've often had to wear it with the strap across my body. The bottle pockets on each side are WAY TOO SMALL to fit any bottle or sippy cup that I've ever used. I use the pockets to hold a small snacks, trash, my cell phone, or a small digital camera. That's about all that will fit in them (and that's one or two things at a time, not the whole list!).
I've enjoyed this bag enough to keep it and continue to use it. I've gotten several compliments on it.

Received today, and going back tomorrow :( Mar 10, 2011
By BrookeS This review is for the OiOi Baby Dot Hobo diaper bag, Char/Lime
I was so, so, so excited to get this diaper bag! I read the reviews prior to ordering and spent hours deciding on which one to get. Usually if something has mostly good reviews- I'll take my chances. Well I should have listened to the lower rated reviews. They are correct! This bag is far too expensive for the quality.
I was very dissapointed when I opened the box. The material of this diaper bag is very similar to that of the ones the hospitals give out- I totally agree with the other reviewer that stated this. I cannot believe this bag costs $100. A more appropriate price would be $30. Not only is the quality like that of the hospital bag, but the smell is horrible. It smells like plastic. Think of the smell when you open a new raft for the pool- that's what this bag smells like.
The description says that it's "Water-resistant black/charcoal microfiber exterior". That is not correct.
I like the style of the bag. I plan to return this one and order the same style, but one that is listed as water resistant canvas. I guess I now have my answer as to why this bag was $99 and all the others were more.

Very Cheaply made Diaper bag Jan 08, 2010
By Katie So I was really excited about this bag. I wanted it so bad. Thought it was going to be my favorite diaper bag ever! I was highly mistaken. This bag is cute in person if you look at it. But the materail is just awaful. The free diaper bag you get in the hospital when you have a baby that is a black plastic... thats what this one was like. Very hard, cruchchy... and the zipper looked like it was going to come undone after about 3 days of use.
I returned the bag...

Great bag with a few flaws... Nov 30, 2009
By Rachel S. Hill I purchased this bag using baby shower gift money. It was my one big splurge and overall, I've been very happy with it. In fact, my husband sadly lost the bag yesterday and we loved it so much we are buying another one. Yes, it's a bit of a luxury item, being a $250 diaper bag, but if you are trying to hang on to a bit of stylishness as a new mom who's perpetually covered in spitup, then you will love this bag. It truly makes you feel like you've still "got it" a little bit. The leather is absolutely luscious, exactly what I'd expect from a designer bag. The trimmings are a nice solid metal that my now 5 month old loves chewing on, and it's holding up just fine. In fact, I love that you can remove the metal rings that attach the strap with a little hinge. It makes a great teething toy for him, and the ring is large enough that it's not a choking hazard and he can hang onto it easily. I love the roomy outside pockets, two small on one side and one large on the opposite side. I try to keep one small pocket reserved for my wallet, phone, keys, etc. and the other is given over to the little baby bobs and bits like extra pacifiers, etc. There are end pockets on the bag, one on each end, but they are so small and deep that they are of little use... I keep my inhaler in one, but that's it. It would be VERY nice if those pockets were bigger and could hold a bottle or as he gets older a sippy cup. Even the larger side pockets aren't really great for holding a bottle, which is probably the bag's biggest drawback. The bag does come with an insulated drawstring bottle bag, but it doesn't keep the bottle very cold, so if your baby was more of a bottle baby, this would be a big concern. We are nursing most of the time, so it's not too much of a problem, and then when he does have a bottle with him, it's breastmilk, which isn't as much of a spoilage concern as formula. But if you knew you were going to be bottle feeding and using formula, this would be a bigger concern. I imagine a bag with insulated bottle pockets would be better. That said, there really aren't a lot of options in the leather diaper bag category (trust me I searched high and low) For me, I've decided that when Jude gets older we will use insulated sippy cups to avoid the worries of milk spoilage.
Also, the diaper changing pad that comes with the bag is way too big to comfortably store in the bag, it's thick and very padded and rolls up into a fat roll that is a big waste of space. We got a thinner one that can be more easily wiped down. The wipes case sucks too. The little ziptop bag is nowhere near large enough to be a true wet bag, but makes a great bag for keeping medicine, nail clippers, and an extra pacifier that we'd like to keep clean.
The only other thing that would be nice would be if the bag were a tad larger, as it's a tight squeeze for us since we do cloth diapers and they take up more space. But if you were doing disposables, you'd probably be just fine with this bag. Overall, a very stylish, very high quality bag that could have benefited with just a little more thought in the details to make it a good diaper bag.
