For the design and safety conscious parent, the Oeuf crib is a staple centerpiece for the clean nursery look. Like European cribs, Oeuf's utilizes fixed siderails and a lower center of gravity, ascending to the pinnacle of safety and longevity of use. The sides, footboard, and headboard are all cut from single sheets of wood panel to eliminate the hazard of loosening joints. Growing with your family, the crib converts to a toddler bed by way of a optional conversion kit. All Oeuf furniture is made in Europe. Note: Some images are shown with an optional changing station. The changing station is not included with the crib. Reliable and attractive crib and bed Jul 18, 2011

We bought this crib for our son 5 years ago and he is still using it as the convertible toddler bed. It is sturdy, safe and simply attractive. We loved the style - not the usual fussy cribs with finicky movable parts, unwanted decorations and cheap finishes. We have been very pleased with this purchase and it is still in great shape to pass along to someone else 5 years down the road.

I'm very pleased with the quality of this crib. This is a great addition to my daughter's nursery. The design is clean and contemporary. It was delivered to our door. We had to carry it up to her room which was a little bit of a hassle but it was easy to assemble the parts. I recommend this crib, you will not be disappointed!

this is the best crib! i researched for quite some time and found the oeuf classic great looking as well as eco-friendly. the directions are clear, packaging concise, and the quality excellent. when my son began teething i was happy to learn they sell touch up paint. after three years we just converted the crib into the toddler bed. one word to describe how my son feels-- ECSTATIC!! thanks, oeuf!

My husband and I take a "less, but better" approach to design in our home and tend to stay away from pieces that are busy or distracting. Shouldn't an investment be something that endures? That's one of my favorite things about the Oeuf classic crib: it really is timeless. No fuss, no complicated extras, no moveable parts, no distractions. Just straightforward lines, quality construction and a smooth white finish that provides the perfect backdrop for a nursery that can be styled with virtually any sort of decor. The crib anchors our modern, pale grey and white nursery perfectly but if paired with a brightly colored fitted sheet, the color "pops" against the white and you've just changed the look of the room instantly without needing to redecorate. It's beautiful but unobtrusive.

We fell in love with the the smart design of this crib but we were equally impressed by how easy it was to put together. Everything fit together just so. The thick bars are sturdy and substantial, the adjustable height allows your child to grow from an infant to a toddler and still be safely ensconced. The optional changing station is at the perfect height and is a genius necessity where space is at a premium and there isn't room for a separate table or dresser. And the ecologically sound packaging and non-toxic finishes are the icing on the cake. All in all, a gorgeous, thoughtfully designed and executed crib that we are happy to have in our home. We have twins and we love this crib so much we are about to buy our second!

This was one of the first pieces we purchased for our nursery and we couldn't have been happier. The design and look was the first thing that we loved but after reading how it is manufactured, the materials used, and the safety, it was a no brainer. While it can be pricey compared to other cribs (similar styles can be found for $300-400), we didn't want to risk the quality especially since it can be converted a a toddler bed that doesn't look like a half crib!

Assembly was super easy and instructions were very easy to follow. My husband and I were very pleased with the quality - the different pieces fit perfectly - that's how you know you have a real piece of furniture. Unlike other self assembly furniture, we didn't have to "adjust" anything when we put it together and it took him about an hour. No toxic smell, no fumes or wasteful packaging.

You can also adjust the bed to 3 different heights as your baby gets older. We have it on the tallest height and I'm 5' 7" but it is a very comfortable height. We are looking forward to getting the conversion kit when we have a toddler - it will still look great and won't have to buy a whole new bed. For us, this was one of the best purchases we made so far and we know it will last us many years.
