Would recommend Oct 28, 2010
By ARHMama I really like OXO products, and this was no different. I Like the way the handle comes up from the bottom instead of from the top like most sippy cups. I felt this was easier to control for my little one (who was learning to drink from a cup). My only complaint is that the plastic insert that controls the amount of liquid through the drink holes seems to slip off too easy. I just have to make sure it is really pressed tightly before I give it to my baby.

for Vampire babies only Jun 30, 2011

If your child has the suction of a vampire then this will be a great cup. Neither me or my child could get more than a drop at a time out of this cup. Sure, it doesn't leak, but you can't possibly drink from this cup. I had bought 3 of them also and it was the same with each cup, so it was not a fluke. In the trash they went.

Don't waste your money. Jul 04, 2011
By D&M This is one of the first awful OXO products we own. Sippy cups are bound to fall on the floor and every single time this one falls, the valve pops out and water goes everywhere. The mouth piece seems quite large too and our baby just does not like this cup. Don't waste your money. We thought we'd give this cup a chance since almost all our kitchen utensils are OXO, but Playtex cups are so much better.

Great concept, horrible performance Jun 23, 2011
By C-Max I usually buy OXO products without a second thought and this time was no different....I should have read the reviews. This is such a great concept, but we ran into a myriad of problems within the first use or two.
First, the valve. The first thing we noticed after our DD took a few drinks, was that their was fluid pouring out of the spout. After assessing the situation, I discovered that the valve had popped off and was floating in her milk. We secured the valve again, and had the same results; repeat x2.
Second, the valve. There is an 'anchor' on the inside of the lid to which the rubber valve attaches. The rubber valve has a slight grooved area to make this possible. This groove is very, extremely, difficult to clean. It kind of grossed me out when I discovered leftover milk stuck in the groove after I had washed it the day before.
Third, the training lid. Our one year old has been drinking out of our Tervis Tumbler w/ lid for a while, so we thought this lid would be great. What we found, was with so many holes on the trainer, it really performed about the same as a cup without a lid or trainer; water everywhere. If they make another generation of this cup, they should cut the holes down to 2-3 at the most...kids figure out where the juice comes out and they adjust.
OXO. I wrote OXO an email on their website. If I hear anything back from them, I will be happy to pass the message along here.

sippy doesn't work Oct 31, 2010
By michou i got this cup set because i thought it would be a good value since you get a no spill sippy plus an extra training lid to transition to real cups. the transition lid seems like a good idea and i have not seen any other similar products with this lid. all of the pieces come apart easily for cleaning. however, the sippy lid was too difficult to use. i filled the cup with water and even I could not suck anything out let alone my baby. also the set does not have a convenient lid for travel like other sippy cups i bought.
