 Buy the Sassy Infa Feeder!! Aug 17, 2011

I bought this because I used the Nuby with my first child on 2005. Well the gasket that is supposed to slide up as the baby sucks is so tight that it wont move. Also the small feeder that comes with it does not allow anything except liquids through it. I ended up using an upolstry needle to try and make hole larger but it didn't work as well. I decided to go and by the Sassy 4oz 2pk of feeders. These work awesome!! The foods moves through easy and they are much better quality.

I got this for my 1st son when he started solids(breast milk+cereal) and we loved it.
Now I'm 37 weeks pregnant with my 2nd boy and was amazed to find out that the attachments from this set fit the Lansinoh milk storage bottles!!! Even the handles works with my Lansinoh Breast pump set!
Now I'm even happier with this product!
Recommend!!!

I love this I just wish it would hold a little more food. the small one is kinda pointless i only use the 4 ounce one. And the only thing i dont like is that it only will work with stage 1 or 2 foods.

You have to put water into it about 3 times befor u put in anything else because it leaks. It takes about 3 trys befor it will work

My mom used infa-feeders for me when I was a baby and has always told me how amazing they were. I chose this one because it says "infa-feeder" in the title. I guess it's possible mine was defective, but I have heard the Sassy ones are better and am ordering one of those as soon I'm through typing this review.
The first time I used this, it was GREAT! Ian loved it, seemed very excited to feed himself (he's breastfed so rarely gets a bottle), he easily held it himself and liked eating the food out of the bottle WAY more than off the spoon: no gross faces or gagging about the food, he just slurped it down!! He's super independent already so the fact he didn't have to wait on me to give him the spoon made him really happy. I'm a stay at home mom so the thought of freeing up my mornings & afternoons of mess-cleaning after feeding him is very nice!
I also took him grocery shopping with me the next day, and gave him the feeder while he was in the cart. It started getting stuck and causing a few issues, so I messed with it and tried adjusting the disc, which was basically jammed to the point of not budging at all. Then it came loose - super loose - and squirted baby food all over the aisle I was in. It hasn't worked worth a crap since the first use! The disc wound up crooked or loose or something, and then the baby food squished out of the side of the disc and all inside the bottom of the feeder are baby sweet potatoes that won't come out because it's not exactly easy to clean the part where food isn't supposed to wind up. Basically it is now a completely useless hunk of plastic.
Like I said, maybe mine was defective, but it only worked properly once. I am really bummed about it too!! I'm hoping the Sassy feeder works better. I would recommend another brand, even if it's not the Sassy!
