Sanitize and entertain! Oct 27, 2008
By MacroVision We really like these convenient disposable placemats. They keep his little hands from the dirty table and also keeps him entertained while we are eating as he likes touching the little pictures. We keep them in his eating out pouch that containes his food, disposable spoons, wipes, and bibs.

Great germ barrier but not for sneaky babies Aug 19, 2010
By Diane These table topper work great for keeping our sons hands germ free and protect the restaurants tables from our sons mess but the toppers only have adhesive on the top and bottom, which leaves the sides exposed. Our son is very smart and has figured out how to slide his little finger on the side and unstick the topper from the tabel. the crinkle of plastic is very amusing to him.

Good to have in a pinch Jul 30, 2010
By J. Lu Yes, as others have said, the adhesive isn't the strongest, but it's still plenty strong. If the table top is smooth and clean, the toppers stay stuck pretty well.
We have one of those chairs that clip onto the table edge, so the arms of the chair hold down the mat, so the stickiness isn't even an issue for us.

If you have a baby and you eat out, you need these May 13, 2010
By lazyin29 My title says it all. Chick -a-Fila use to have these available at thier restaurants and I used to take a couple at a time. They got smart and now only put them in the bags for kids meals. So, I purchased them here. I really don't think it matters what type of charater you get, it is just important to be able to put these down on the table in public restaurants. The mat stays in place with a sticky adheseve on the back. My baby is too young to eat off of a plate, without her trying to throw the plate on the floor. I feel good knowing that my baby is not eating off of a table that was probably cleaned by a dirty dishrag anyway! So my advice to you moms out there... Get these!

very satisfied Sep 24, 2009

Ditto on being the best invention. Friends who have witnessed us using these for our kids agree these are awesome, a great idea. I also had used the kiddopotamus rubber rollup mats initially and my son learned to yank them off the table . I also found the rubber mats bulky to carry around. I would have liked to continue using the kiddopotamus mat as its resuable and washable, less to the landfill. As mentioned by other reviews, these disposable mats are very compact, light weight and the second best feature for me, biodegradable. For our kids, once you successfully adhere the mat to the table, ripping the mat off the table is not easy so no problem for us.
