My son is 14 months old and he has been using this bedding since day one. I knew I was very happy with the quality, but didn't know just how nice it was for the price until I started shopping for new bedding for my next baby. The quality of other brands I saw in the same price range is terrible. All of the material is super soft, the bumper is very nicely padded, fits well and stays in place. Other brands were thin and didn't stay up, folded over or gaped on the sides. Everything still looks like new after 14 months. The sheets have been washed a lot, of course, and are still soft and perfect. I have only washed the bumper a few times, but it comes out great too. It is a bit of an inconvenience having to air dry everything, especially the bumper, but it is still worth it. I like the subtle design and think it is a soothing place to fall asleep as compared to many bold patterns that don't seem comforting to a baby. This bedding had absolutely no odor out of the bag, unlike most new products. I feel good knowing my baby is sleeping on organic cotton, especially considering how many hours are spent in the crib. I just can't say enough good things about it.

Indeed, this lovely looking set is soft and cozy, but I have chased up details about the entire content of this set after reading the label about the polyester being treated. Only the covers are organic, the filling has been treated with some chemical. I have found out that it does not meet class 1 of the Oeko-Tech standard...which classifies fabrics in their safety. Class 1 would be that appropriate for babies, class 2 for skin contact, class 3 no skin contact...decoration only etc... This set meets only class 2, which means it is not recommended for baby, but ok for skin contact probably for individuals other than babies....so I don't see the point of the organic covers, which are definitely not working well enough to keep chemicals away from baby's nose. I would say, if you love the pattern buy this, if you care about it being organic or not and what chemicals it emits....do not buy this item. It is not really the organic (chemical free) set you hope for.In fact, all of this manufacturer's producta are filled with the same material, so you may want to stay away from "Nature's Purest" brand altogether.

My son is 20 months old and has been using this since the day he was born. We bought the comforter, bumper, crib skirt, valence, and sheets to go with it. ALL OF THEM are STILL in GREAT CONDITION!! Not one seam is torn, nothing... absolutely noting is wrong with this set. I love it... and, most importantly my son loves it! The fabrics are so so soft... I want a bedding set as soft as this!! It is a bit pricey but totally worth the purchase! We have bought more sheets in different brands since we wash them often... I also wash all the bedding (bumper too) often (weekly). And they are still in amazing condition. The comforter stuffing doesn't lump in one section of the blanket or anything. It's wonderful!
We are pregnant with our second (due in December) and will be using this for this baby. We bought this bedding b/c it's neutral and had hopes of using it for multiple children, which we are able to do since this is quality made stuff..
BUY THIS BEDDING!!!

I can only agree with the 5 star reviews. The only thing is that covers are organic cotton but the filling (bumper, comforter) is polyester, which I don't mind but some people could.

I have several of the nature's purest pieces. They are all quality made, very soft, and neutral in color. They'll fit boy or girl babies and almost any decor.
