I bought these thinking the soft silicone top would be a good transition from bottles. But they are badly designed because they do not adequately vent as the baby drinks; a vacuum gets created inside the cup and the liquid doesn't flow well. This is frustrating, so my son doesn't like the cup. On the plus side, they don't leak, but this benefit is totally outweighed by the fact that the cup is so hard to drink from.

My daughter likes it because of the soft top, but she sucks all the air out and so the nipple depresses into the cup and then she wont drink until I fix it...but she does like the cut, and its spillproof! A GREAT beginners cup...

My daughter is 18 months old and does not like this sippy yet. i think she will like it by the time she is 2, so I would wait to get this sippy until your child is older than 2 years.

I wish I had gotten this one first. I always try to order the baby products with the highest ranking reviews. That did not work well with sippies. This is the only one that DD likes. Just make sure you align the two bumps on the plastic cover with the two little indentations in the soft nipple-like spout (see the very edge). Otherwise, this cup will leak- a lot. But in as long as you take the extra few seconds it takes to align those together, not one drop. Previous sippies included Dr. Brown's amongst many others.

These are great sippy cups. They don't leak like many other types. The lid stays on securely and they're easy to wash. We used NUBY bottles and nipples and they hold up very well.
