The person who designed this was really thinking. When your child outgrows the sippy part it screws out from the inner side and it is designed to drink out of like a normal cup. The lip of the cup is rounded. I wish all the sippy cups did this!! Stainless steel assures me that there are no toxins leaching into my child's drink from a plastic lining yet it is just as durable, even more so.

I wish they made more like these!

The stainless steel liner separated from the outer plastic cup, revealing a loose screw in the bottom of the cup. This is definitely a choking hazard. I have only ever hand washed this cup and my 14 month old only uses it sitting down - she has never dropped it.
