Worked great... for a month May 19, 2012
By Korin Yang I got two of these for two kids. They really did not leak, which was impressive given how my son likes to shake cups. After less than a month, though, pieces of the valve inside both spouts had broken off, so it spilled everywhere and liquid came out of the cup very fast when drinking. I don't care about that so much, but the whole point of the cup was to prevent spills, and it stopped doing that and I can't seem to find replacement tops; you have to buy the whole cup.
Infant LOVES this sippy!! May 06, 2012
By Shannon Smith My 9mo prfers this sippy cup over the playtex trainers. It's much easier for her to hold. I haven't had any problems with mold in the lid. It gets handwashed after use and put in the dishwasher if we have a full load. The lid and the silicone piece both easily fit in the munchkin basket on the top rack. No warping problems whatsoever.

best silicone spout sippy cup Jan 18, 2012
By monkeywrench This is the best silicone spout sippy cup we've tried. We started with the ones with the handles, then tried the Nuby sippy cups. The Nuby only has two notches at the top so it's easier to put together, but we found them more prone to leaking than these Munchkin cups. More than half the kids in our 18-mo son's daycare class use this cup. It does leak a few drops if they shake really hard with the cup upside down, but we found most of the leakage was due to "user error" - our son likes to squeeze the spout with his hand or tears in the silicone from chewing.
Never had mold issues as mentioned by other reviewers. We separate the bottles and wash by hand every day, but occasionally they go in the dishwasher too. Even had bottles that were forgotten about for a day or two, then "found" and stuck them in the dishwasher to sanitize and they came out fine (milk in the summer for more than a day can't be sanitized; throw out the cup!).
Our 18-mo old throws the sippy cups with the hard spout and refuses to use them (will go ALL day without drinking). Hoping he makes the transition soon, but these are working great and have for months.
Molds if not washed carefully - dishwasher won't do! Jan 12, 2012
By S. Lee At first, we loved these cups, even though the top plastic kind of dulls fairly quickly. Kids have teeth, they bite and abuse cups and I make it a habit of switching into new ones every 6 to 12 months depending on the quality. It was a surprise to me, when I was filling one of these with juice and noticed molding at the edge of the spout! We always take it apart, and put it in the dishwasher, just like we do with all of our sippy cups and I found this one gathering mold!! Luckily, we do old school boiling of cups every month or so, but this was a bit too much. We have our dishwasher on high-temp scrubbing, and still, these were doing their own germy thing. Just like the other parent said, separating and putting these together are super painful but what's the point when that's not going to prevent the mold from growing? Also, if you slighly misalign the spout while putting it back together (which is very likely to happen), they will leak. Overall, the worst sippy cups we've had. Our 5 for $3.00 BPA free cups were much better... and we dispose those every other month.
