RUST on tip of nipple brush otherwise great design Oct 02, 2008
By T. Le I love the grip, the suction cup and the nipple brush integrated in the handle, but this is my second brush because I got sick of looking at the rust on the tip of the nipple brush. The next one rusted just the same, but I use it all the time so it is otherwise durable. I agree that the bristles could be softer (the top bristles mat down) and it does spray all over when cleaning a narrow mouth bottle. I know better than to buy a brush with a sponge on the end. Why cant they make it all plastic like Avent so there is no rust to deal with?

Love this brush! Sep 28, 2007

It is nice-looking, which is good, because I can leave it suction-cupped to the counter next to my sink for easy access; sturdy; comfortable to hold and use; and the bristles are strong and sturdy-they are long enough to scrub into weird crevices, like the vent mechanisms of Dr. Brown's bottles (not the little hole portions-use the little brush those bottles come with or a pipe cleaner for that), yet flexible enough that they "squish" to fit into any bottle-wide bottles, narrow bottles, or even the wide-mouth vent shaft tops of Dr. Brown's bottles. I've used this brush with Dr. Brown's, Avent, Medela (even the ones for the breast pump), generic bottles and bottle accessories, as well as breast pump parts.
I love that the little nipple brush fits into the handle of the main brush. The color choices are nice.
We even bought another one to keep at the babysitter's!

Best brush! Jun 11, 2007

This is the best bottle brush! Worth every penny!
It has lasted longer than any other one I have ever bought & it does not have the sponge like the other brushes. It works great, stands on its own which I find practical and sanitary. It cleans extremely well and the nipple brush attaching right on the bottom is very convenient. Just love it!

Munchkin Deluxe Bottle Brush, Colors May Vary Jul 31, 2010

ASIN B000E89BNU - It seems like I might be the only one reviewing this for a use other than scrubbing baby bottles. Which I find weird. Just thought I'd mention that.
I've got a fairly large collection of barware that has gotten more dusting than use, so I decided to put it back into service - because booze always goes good with a recession. The trouble is that many of the taller glasses have mouths that are far smaller than my hands and cleaning them was driving me... well, to dirty others. This brush takes care of those glasses just fine.
The suction cup that hides the nipple brush? Well, okay, that's a little superfluous for me. I like the suction cup, though, because it keeps the brush in one place. Things tend to get lost around the bar, which probably has something to do with all the drinking. The nipple brush, I have yet to find a current use for, but back when I had a bottle-drinker, I Krazy Glued the suction cup in place because the wire of the nipple brush does rust.
On the baby bottle front, I couldn't resist. With so many complaints about splashing water, I thought there might be some IQ deficiency in users of the brush, so I got out my kid's old bottles and gave it a whirl. Yes, it splatters a little water, but come on, you've got a kid who drinks from bottles, the odds are really good that you've recently dealt with ickier things than a little clean water sprinkling your cheeks. Here is a tip (not specific to this brush, just some common sense): when removing the brush from the bottle, point the bottle down into the sink, instead of into your face. I'm not seeing this as super complicated.

there are better brushes out there. Aug 24, 2011
By tom I wanted to title this review as 'do not buy' or 'I hate this brush' but then I realized maybe it might work better for wide bottle openings like Avent or Dr. Brown, while I use Evenflo. I do not like this brush because 1. the bristles are hard. when pulling the brush out, my whole forearm gets wet from the spray. by the time i'm done cleaning bottles, my forearm is drenched. 2. the bristles are wide so i practically have to jam it into the bottle with force. a few time my soapy grip slipped and i ended up jamming my thumb.
Avent makes a better brush with softer bristles and it works fine for narrow bottle openings so one size fits all.
