Over priced no function. May 26, 2011
By E. Henkes These bags are basically a piece of fabric with a zipper sewn at the top. They are very small. There is not water or moisture proof barrier for items like baby carrots. Items will get stale very quickly because there isn't a liner, so even your fishie crackers aren't going to taste good. These would be better with a PUL liner (fabric used in cloth diapers) in them. You would be better off repurposing a makeup or cosmetic bag from the dollar store that is lined for wiping clean.

Snack bags May 27, 2011

I wish the inside of the bags were more wet-resistant and allowed for crackers to stay fresher. Packing a lunch and leaving it in the fridge overnight leads to stale cheez-its. Perfect for portion controlling.

so far so good! Aug 02, 2011
By my two cents
"my two cents"
when i first got it they were a little smaller than what i was expecting. i guess i should have looked at the size details more carefully but i guess i was expecting more of a sandwich bag size. but anyway, it is big enough to hold one portion worth of snacks for my kids (younger elementary age). i've done dry snacks only so far so don't know how it would do with anything wet. so far i've really liked not having to use disposable bags again. i haven't washed these yet. i basically shake out any crumbs and reuse them again. for the price, i think well worth it.

Cuts back on plastic bags Mar 18, 2012

These bags are great for small snacks! Don't plan on putting chips them because they will not hold many. i also found that they do not keep certain items....fresh. For example, my Cheerios. Within a couple of hours, they had a stale taste to them. If you do not eat certain foods within a certain amount of time of them being placed inside, they will not taste too well. Strangely, I went right back to using plastic bags after I realized just how small the bags are. As a 98 pound college student with a fast metabolism, I would say that these bags do not hold enough. They are actually meant for very young children.

Great washable bags Jul 29, 2011
By CM I love these cute snack bags and so does my 3 year old. He is really happy to be able to zip and unzip them easily and I love that they are easy to wash and re-use. I just dump out any remaining crumbs, and toss into the wash with the rest of our clothes. Then I air dry them (not sure this is a necessary step, but I'd like them to last through multiple kiddos). The keep dry snacks fresh for about 2 days, but if they don't get eaten before then they start getting a bit stale. For some reason apple slices travel really well in these bags, better than zip locs even, they don't seem to turn brown and can last all day. I just wish they would make them in more fabric patterns. Especially more boy friendly patterns.
