Does the job for Snugride 35 Jan 12, 2012
By MissSparkle1980 We use this converter to attach our Graco Snugride 35 to the Mountain Buggy Swift. It's a little stiff clipping the converter on and off the stroller's frame, but it's not a big deal. Plus it means that it's nice and tight with no movement when the car seat is attached.
Clipping the car seat in and out of the converter is a little awkward though and I think it could be better designed to aid getting the car seat on and off the stroller a lot quicker (we live in NYC so need to get in and out of cabs quickly), but it does the job and the car seat is very secure when it's clipped in.
Changing between the Mountain Buggy seat and the converter is not the quickest as you have to un/clip the MB seat from the stroller frame which is attached via a whole lot of poppers, but it's pretty easy and only takes a few minutes.
I love that I can use the car seat with the stroller though and didn't have to get a separate bassinet in order to have the baby facing me.
Easy to use Oct 16, 2011
By SS123 I've only used my Swift with the car seat adapter and the Graco Snugride 35 in Edgemont (it's a black, red, and white pattern).
The car seat adapter was pretty easy to put on, and the car seat is very easy to snap in. The car seat connects in the front and back so it's very secure. I occasionally have trouble popping the car seat out, but I still give this a five since I'm not the strongest person out there.
The stroller folds very nicely even with the car seat adapter on, so you don't need to bother taking it off to fold. I haven't used the Swift seat yet, so I can't rate the ease of switching back and forth from seat to car seat adapter.
One other small thing is that the car seat kind of bumps around on uneven terrain, so it would be nicer if there was suspension on the wheels, but my baby doesn't seem to mind the bumps to much.
The best part is my baby gets to face me, and I didn't need to pay extra for a bassinet! I also love the fact that if I unexpectedly need to take a cab, I have my car seat right there with me.
