Nice stroller Jun 10, 2009
By R. Wesolowski For a while now I was looking for a nice double stroller. I have a tandem stroller(front to back) which can get down isles in the store, but is very difficult to meneuver. I also have a double jogging stroller(side by side) which is easy to maneuver, but I can't take it into a store. My wife and I always ended up takeing two umbrella strollers because we didn't want to deal with the double strollers. When we had our third child I decided we needed something different. I compared the Joovey Caboose and the Baby Trend Sit and Stand. For a few months I was going back and forth between the two and I finally settled on the Joovey Caboose. So when I logged in to Amazon and did a search for it, the Mia Moda also came up in the search.
It handles well. The center of gravity is perfectly placed so that turning is easy. In fact it's even easier that a single stroller. I can now go into the stores with my wife which is a nice change to sitting outside with the bored screaming kids. Since we often use the stroller on the boardwalk the suspension and bigger wheels were an added bonus. I have an infant a 3 yr old and a 6 yr old. The infant rides up front with the included car seat adapter and the other two take turns in the back. The 6 yr old fits in it just fine.
I chose this over the sit and stand because of the smaller wheel base, I chose this over the joovey because of the parent tray, adjustable handle and suspension.
It is a bit heavy but it pretty much lives in the back of the minivan so I only have to lift it in and out which isn't much of a problem and rolling it while it's folded isn't much of a problem either.
My only gripe was that the instruction manual was for a different model but it was close enough that I could figure it out, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

This stroller is great if you have 2 children close in age.I bought it because I was expecting my 6th child. My youngest 2 are 5 & 3.My 3 year old fits great front or back,my 5 year old can ride on the back once in a while if she gets tired, and the newborn fits great. My graco car seat fits perfectly. It is a bit heavy, but it is sturdy, strong, and well worth it.Much better than the Joovy. The cup holders are a plus, the basket is easy to access from back or sides if child is sitting in the back.A breeze to fold and unfold.Fits right in the back of my mini van. This is not for someone who prefers a small compact stroller. This stroller is not small and compact. This stroller is great while shopping,at the amusement park, zoo, whatever.Easy to manuver.Does not tip foward like alot of sit and stand and tandems do when a carseat is placed in front.Easy to clean.I can not say enough good about this stroller.Extremely easy to convert it to hold an infant carrier or older child. Can make the switch in minutes. Was very easy to put together, came almost completely assembled.

good sit/stand stroller Nov 19, 2008
By K. Troy I looked at several sit/stand type strollers and eventually decided to buy this one, sight unseen, based on reviews of the other Mia Moda strollers. I finally got it out for a maiden voyage today with my 2 1/2 year old son and 5 month old daughter. It was great!
Pros: front seat reclines much more than similar strollers steers very easily wheels are large enough to go over bumpy sidewalks easily pushes easily toddler seat in back is nice and big, flips up to reach storage basket easily adjustable handle height cost (same as a Joovy Caboose) basket is nice and big
Cons: Big and heavy (I wouldn't want to haul it in and out of my car much) I wish the handle went up higher (I'm 5'10" and it's borderline too short) Not that much space in the toddler seat when the front seat is reclined, but there seems to be more than in similar strollers, which is good
All in all I'm very happy with this stroller. It's great for longer walks in the neighborhood. We don't plan on folding/storing it much - will leave it open and ready to go - so weight and size isn't much of an issue for us. Hey, it's nearly a double stroller so it's going to be big.

Just got the Mia Moda Compagno and LOVE it. The quality of this stroller is much nicer than the Baby Trend version. Everything about it makes it nicer. The quality of materials, roomier seats for both kids, how easy it folds up, parent tray, just everything. I had been looking at the Baby Trend version and loved the sit/stand idea but hated the actual stroller. This is exactly what I have been hoping for. Mia Moda is a newer company but have certainly hit on quality, style, and price. We are thirlled and would recomend to anyone!!!

Great! Fits our needs perfectly! Sep 30, 2010
By A Conne I have a 3 yr old and a 1 one year old; When my 3 yr old often climbed behind her brother in our regular stroller, I started looking into these sit and stands. We tried out the Baby Trend at the local store, but it seemed a little long, and my boy, who is a *really* big baby, seemed a bit uncomfortable in the front seat in that the seat seemed somewhat small for him. I looked at the reviews of the Joovy (the regular one; didn't want to spend the extra money on the ultralight) and was concerned about the lowness of the backrest of the front seat (my boy likes to lounge back), and, again, that the front seat platform may be too small.
So, then comes the Mia Moda... We love it! Quality materials; Not so long; For the front seat - nice size backrest and seat platform (my big buy sits just fine in it); Okay with folding it and unfolding it after the first couple of tries; Easy handling and smooth movement. As with others, I do wish the canopy were larger. I would agree that the handle is a bit low, but I'm only 5'2", so that's not an issue with me. Also not an issue with me is its heaviness - with two 32 pound children that I pick up regularly, not a big deal.
All in all, I'm so glad I chose this one!
