Love it! Sep 06, 2008

My toddler loves this table the the train set (purchased separately). However, when the table arrived it was missing ALL hardware and I had to wait 4 weeks before Melissa and Doug sent me the hardware so I could put it together. It was easy to put together - didn't take much time at all. I'm only giving this product 4 stars however, due to the hardware missing and customer service taking so long to send us the missing hardware. On top of that there was a missing screw hole so my husband had to drill one for me or the drawer would not have worked at all. Good thing my hubby knows how to do that or I would have been out of luck. The other thing is that the table had nicks in a few places which sucks because it doesn't look 100% nice/new. So I was bummed about that and probably won't buy the kitchen set I was looking at because of this. Hope all this info helps.

Great buy Jul 06, 2009

This table is the perfect height for a toddler/pre-schooler to navigate with large railway sets. It's also easier on parents' backs to help "fix" fallen pieces than the floor. It keeps our son engaged for good amounts of time and keeps his rails and trains all in one place and off the floor. The storage drawer is nice for extra pieces. Plus there is room under the table where we can add storage bins and we've already used it as a place to store other toys, trucks, puzzles, etc that don't store easily in a toy chest. The assembly was very easy and took less than an hour and we didn't experience any problems with missing or damaged parts. We bought the table for less than $100 including shipping, which is such a great value compared to other tables.
Good Quality/ Value Sep 13, 2011
By Momma Boudica This table was a great value. We also bought the Melissa & Doug train set plus extra sets to expand. It came in at about $200 which was, I kid you not, about $800 less than a comparable set up of Thomas Trains. I put the table together myself and it wasn't hard at all. One screw receptor type piece had no corrugation or whatever you call it, like it had been stripped, but since I have 2 young boys I never got around to calling about it and despite missing one of 4 supports it hasn't fallen these past 8 months, lol.
Melissa Doug Table Jan 03, 2011
By TrainDad As with most Melissa and Doug products, great value for the money. Relatively simple to assemble and quite sturdy after it was put together Our 3 year old got it for Christmas for his Thomas collection and just loves it. Same quality as some other tables priced at nearly three times what we paid for this.
BIG but Nice Quality Dec 26, 2010
By AandEMom This activity table is very good quality and looks super nice in our play room! I love it. The height is great - our children are 33 in. and 43 in., so we like things made for taller kids. It's bigger than I had imagined and takes up a lot of space. Also, despite the fact that we followed the assembly directions carefully, the drawer is difficult to open and close, so it's not for kid-friendly storage. Overall, I am very happy with it though, because we can use it to set up our train set, our Lego Duplos, and our fire station and garages. So many uses!
